so a normal stage like wifi waiting room works even if your the only one with the code. Right?
Depends what code as there is two types.

1. That overides chosen stage. (Desync Online)

2.That "votes" for the stage. (Works Online.)

I just made these as examples.

Stage "Vote"

Hold at selection screen untill stage has loaded.

Hold R for Practice Stage
284DE4B0 000000A0
4A000000 81000000
145E25D8 00000037
E2000002 80008000

Hold L for Target Test
284DE4B0 000000C0
4A000000 81000000
145E25D8 00000038
E2000002 80008000

Hold Y for Result Stage
284DE4B0 00000880
4A000000 81000000
145E25D8 00000028
E2000002 80008000

Hold X for Home Run Contest
284DE4B0 00000480
4A000000 81000000
145E25D8 00000034
E2000002 80008000

Works online those, but remember it acts like your voting for the stage so it won't work 100% of time.

That's all I ask for. And to have Sonic Boom playing in the backround of every stage :D

phuxed, what are you trying to steal other people's work?

http://heinermann.kakkoister.com/BrawlStageID.txt lol Copy Pasted this list EXACTLY?

Oh & Meleemaster use the custom stage online thing and change 35 to any other stage ID that way only 1 person needs the code as it's like your "voting" for the stage.
I should apologize, that's not how I meant to come off.

I copy pasted it, by "my findings" I meant, what I found searching around for more codes.

Didn't mean to come off as a leech, sorry >_>

This isn't a request thread.
And there already is a music modifier.

The first post has the text file (official) as well as me replacing all of the <!--(!include General FP info)-->
stuff with the correct info, so that you can see the needed info in the comments for each code.

eh, some codes don't work all the time. it works best when it's the only code enable, as you have less chance of them not working.

infinite jumps,
infinite Up-b,
pokemon switch (manaphy),
color modifier,
p2 hatless mario,
p1 shield pit,
unrestricted camera,
Stage Editor Unlimited Parts v2.1,
and Stage Editor Place Anywhere v2 all work.

not sure about wifi custom stages i play a custom stage offline, and still offline, random sends it to the custom stage, but now i can't connect to anyone on wifi "with anyone" even choosing a normal stage. it could be another code doing it though.
which mario is the hatless one, first or last on the list?:dizzy:

Is there a list of working codes somewhere?
they should all work, but i personally have only done a few.

-you can't use too many codes with ocarina (try to limit the file to under 2 Kb)

-many codes can freeze the game in particular situations

-many codes can affect each other (especially if they contradict each other)

-codes can apparently sometimes work, and sometimes not (i've experienced this with infinite up-b, infinite jump codes, and unrestricted camera, all in one session)

when will the character modifiers for players 5,6, and 7 be out?

also, will we be able to completely set up 7-player matches? if so, id have several... like Link, Toon Link, Pit, Meta Knight, Ike, Marth all in one match.

I know this is a bit off-topic but I need help with setting up Ocarina. I finally got the Homebrew channel and I've followed these instructions to install Ocarina.

1. Open the zip file, extract the contents to a folder (usual winzip stuff)
2. Inside the folder you extracted them, open a folder that was created called 'pc'. Open codemgr.exe
3. Figure out which version of Brawl you have.
Open your SD Card's folder and go to 'private' > 'wii' > 'app'. Inside 'app', there will be a folder that says either 'rsbe' or 'rsbp'.
Remember which one it is!
4. Go to 'File' > 'Open TXT file' in codemgr.exe
5. Open the text file in the 'pc' folder that matches the name of the folder on your SD Card.
6. If you've ever used an Action Replay, the list that appears on the left should look familiar. Click whatever cheats you want to be activated.
7. Click 'Export to GCT', a button near the bottom of codemgr.exe
8. The codes will be saved to a file. The program now asks if you want to save the file to your computer (to put on an SD Card later) or directly to the SD Card.
9. Click 'Store' once you've made your selection.
10. Next to the 'pc' folder, there was a 'hbc' folder. Open that, and save the 'ocarina' folder inside it to your SD Card.

Then I realized I had to put the Ocarina folder into the apps folder. So I did that and it still didn't work, could somone help?

I believe the current codes are modifiers to the characters who appear in the times 7 characters appear on screen, like classic mode, or multiman brawl. so the easiest way first would be for there to be people controlling the guys who die in one hit, than for more characters to be in a regular brawl (im not saying it's impossible though)

the .GCT file goes into a folder called "codes" put on the root of your SD card. once you open ocarina in the homebrew channel (or however you load it), then it will find the code files in the "codes" folder.

also the codes have to be names "RSBE01.GCT" if you have the US version.

and I personally have not tested each code that works online, but I know that probably the Pokemon modifier doesn't let you go online (the txt file i got the codelist from commented on that)

This probably isn't the place to ask...

but now that I've screwed up and used too many codes, I can't start matches on Wi-Fi. As the match is about to start, it freezes with an annoying sound. What can I do about this? Do I have to get a new copy of Brawl?

Whatever, I got Ocarina working and it's cool. I've only tried unrestricted Camera and this one "Makes P2 black code" which I only used with Game and Watch. He lost the grey outline which was cool.

Now I'm going to go online with those stage codes. I'll mess with people for sure!

The Ocarina code manager thing on my Computer is empty all of a sudden...I suck at this, somone clearly explain how the hell I add codes.

This probably isn't the place to ask...

but now that I've screwed up and used too many codes, I can't start matches on Wi-Fi. As the match is about to start, it freezes with an annoying sound. What can I do about this? Do I have to get a new copy of Brawl?
no.

play the game without codes on, it'll work

just some codes don't work online, like apparently the pokemon one doesn't

the first time i tried codes online, it wouldn't connect me, and I didn't know the code, (i had a pokemon modifier on though)

there's a problem making extra lines in the codes i posted on the first post, the format for the code should be

Name of code
000000 000000
000000 000000
Comments
[empty line]
Name of code
000000 000000
000000 000000
Comments

ect....

some of the comments have empty lines in the middle of them, which will screw the code manager up, i'll fix it soon
