Everyone needs to have Skype at least before the matches actually start, it's the common standard communication tool for things like this and it's too cumbersome trying to get stuff together right before a match if you're just using a forum. The thing is free and runs on most smartphones and systems so there's no real excuse for not having it besides being stubborn.

Alternatives are xat, chatango or groupme but you really need to use some kind of chat system.

Hooray! Thanks! How do I go about adding new participants and updating the brackets? Is there some way to give me permission to update the bracket or add participants? Or should I just generate a new bracket entirely? Obviously I won't be able to seed anyone since I have no idea what skill level everyone is.

Additionally, is anyone open to starting the tournament at an earlier time today? If we start at 7 central the tournament could potentially end pretty late (although it should go at a relatively quick speed).

Edit-Unless anyone is opposed, I think it makes the most sense to just use the chat program to play all of our matches. Unfortunately I don't think it will let us send private messages, but since there aren't a ton of players we won't need to be too concerned about chat spam. If it gets messy we could always use Skype for private messages though.
