So is anyone gonna pre-order/buy the game on the 24th? I would do it but I don't have a good computer to run pso2 alpha in the summer (gonna buy a new laptop around the fall once pso2 is around the corner). I'd like to see some ppl try to get the code and give me feedback on how the alpha is like if they're lucky enough to get in.

Also i saw some pics on ign that the coronel from KFC is in PSP2 infinity XD. So thats a plus I guess? Looks at Mike G

What 1000$+ laptop do I buy to play this on?

Edit: Now that I look at the prices on ebay, it might just be better to get a current g73jw or g73jh for like 800-1200$ and save a good 500$+

Judging from the three, m18x has the biggest screen which is cool, but being alienware it will be the most expensive and will have terrible customer service. I saw this Origin on ign which looks pretty cool, but I think I'd rather have a laptop that lasts longer than 100 min. unplugged. Asus is usually the cheapest brand (money wise) out of gaming laptops with good specs, I'll just have to see the pricing along with the specs in the fall release of the laptop.

Another thing I wonder is, If I should wait for windows 8 to come out before buying a new laptop, since the speculated release date is sometime this year or early next year.

As sweet as that alienware merchandise looks, I'd steer clear from it. :o To us frequents in the MMO world we compare it to MACs, You could get something a lot sturdier (Like your other two choices?).

yeah, I thought about it and I'm pretty set on waiting out for a new asus since pso really isn't coming anytime soon, at least for us non-alpha users. I'd only buy the alienware if I won the lottery and battery life is garb for that other one.

That's a pretty good choice actually, the one you mentioned. I considered buying the asus g73sw-a1 version but that runs at 1700 on amazon and the cheapest i found on ebay was $1430.

The model im currently holding out for is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwjYA1BPJk4 coming out in fall i think. I'm not sure if pso2 will be 3d at all but to wait a bit longer to have the possible option seemed too good to pass up. I mean sc2 is 3d so this could be as well although that might just be wishful thinking.

The game got delayed till next year =(

The 2nd alpha testing should begin early next year it says in 2012 in order to make the game better. Im happy that itll be a better game but the earliest I'd say it'd be released in the U.S. is like summer 2012 which is awhile away and that is just being leniant, it might take longer to see a state-wide release.

I had a feeling this would happen tbh.
