1. Why Pikachu? Ivysaur is way more adorable.

Ivysaur is more adorable, but she comes with the burden of Squirtle and Charizard, ewwww~

If I could go solo Ivy without worrying about fatigue, she'd probably be my co-main, no joke.

2. What made you decide to play as Zelda?

To be honest............. that's a **** good question. Because Zelda is a super *** character, lol.

I started using her on wifi where I could spam Din's and smash moves and win.

Then at CoT4, I used her for two matches and won.

And ever since then, it's been hard to put her down -- I guess because I put time and energy into learning her, so I'd hate to let that go. I do realize how horrible she is, though..... I mainly use her for wifi, doubles, ICs, and other Pikas.

Eventually I'd like to get comfortable enough to use her for all low tiers.

3. How was your first tournament experience? How well did you place, who did you play, and what happened that influenced you to show to more tournaments in the future?

My very first tournament, I got 2nd, but it was a very non-legit GameStop tourney..... lol.

My first real tournament, I'm pretty sure I didn't win a single set -- both went to 3rd match, though, iirc. Not only that, but I lost to Clai in Loser's, and he mains.......................... Ganondorf. It was really embarrassing, but he was better than me at the time, and I've since gotten my revenge. =D

The experience as a whole was great, though. I was really shy at the time since it was my first time at a competitive event, but I met a bunch of cool people and actually had fun getting my *** kicked.

The drive to get better (after such a poor first show) and prove that girls can do well at the game is what led me to show up at future events.

1. What brought you to this site in the first place? Why competitive Brawl?

Uhhh.... how did I find SWF? I can't remember, sorry. X.X I had some alternate accounts that I used to lurk for a while, but once I decided to become competitive, I wanted my username to match my tag.

I decided to become competitive for a few reasons.

For one, I really liked the other Brawl players in my area right off the bat -- most of whom are now in my crew.

For two, I saw how dudes reacted to a girl playing a video game, and it pissed me off to a point where I immediately wanted to prove that we can compete.

For three, I had recently decided to take a break from school for a while to do an internship, so I had a bunch of free time. And I've always really enjoyed playing Smash, so I figured: why not try to take it to the next level?

2. Do you maylayyyyy?

Very casually. By the time I discovered the world of competitive gaming, Brawl was already out, and I hate going backwards.

But I've played Smash + mained Pika since 64, so yeah, I did play a lot of Melee. Mostly FFAs with items, though.

3. Why kingdom hearts? no I don't want to GTFO!

You'll GTFO when I tell you to GTFO!!!

If I wrote all the reasons why I love the KH series, we'd be here all freaking day, lol. Short and sweet version: I just love everything about it. The only other games that come close in my heart are Okami and The World Ends With You.

4. I want to see the secret mod themes/skins........?

I'm honestly not sure if I'm allowed to post screenshots of it. x.x

Do you guys have the Brawl/Brawl Light skins yet? If so, that's what the so-called secret mod skin looks like. It's pretty awesome, not gonna lie.

Ask me in a PM, and I might have the same answer, might not.

I'm fairly happy with how I'm progressing. There's nothing "holding me back." I have a lot to work on still (as do most of us), but I play the game for the fun of competing.... not being the best doesn't bother me.

Except for a few random MUs, PS1 is my favorite stage ever. Tjolt camping is so easy there, and it's the only stage where I feel giddy over playing as gay as possible.

Alcoholic: straight up Captain Morgan. Official drink of my freshman years. ;-;

Non-alcoholic: ummm, root beer floats. I don't get to have them that often (and would probably get sick if I did since I'm lactose intolerant), but they're always so so good when I do.

Nah, I can't remember who first called me Mamachu, tbh, lol. It's from the old school Xat days..... I'm Mamachu, Stealth alternates between Papachu and the butler, DLW's the dog, and there were a bunch of sons and daughters that came later.

When you go to tournaments, do you feel as though you have something to prove as a female smasher in a generally male environment?

Always. I'm not doing the best job of carrying the torch for female players (there are plenty out there that are better than me), but it's one of my goals when I actually have the energy to care about Brawl.

At tournaments, people are more likely to watch my matches, they're always asking if I'm out yet (because they don't want to get outplaced by me), and people that lose to me have a tendency to look like I just shot their dog. 9 times out of 10, they also get made fun of by their friend.

It's hilarious and sad at the same time, and although I don't feel pressured by it, per se, it can make me really self-conscious when I play.

But yeah, I always wanna do well for my fellow ladies. =X

What was your biggest tournament acheievment?

Not getting 3-stocked by M2K. x.o

Uhh, but in all seriousness, I haven't had any amazing tourney moments. I felt pretty good when I beat Remix, though..... especially his ICs. Winning with Zelda in tourney is too goodz.

What was your most disappoiting moment in Brawl?

Anytime I know I could've played better is really disappointing to me. There are some people I've lost to who I shouldn't have, and it always pisses me off.

If you could change one aspect of Pika's metagame, for better or worse, what would it be?

I'd give him better kill options. Against someone who knows the MU well, it can be hard to land one until they majorly **** up.

That, or I'd give him a bigger shield. Seriously, wtf @that tiny thing?!

Genre of music: R&B or neo-soul. Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu..... slow songs with a lot of feeling in them are extremely sexy to me.

The most commonly accepted story is that Stealth rolled on top of me one day, I couldn't escape, and that's how it all happened.

Hah! Considering recent events, that's a hilarious question.

I think truly hating someone you don't know is silly, but I'm sure there are plenty of people on SWF who don't like me. I'm not afraid to speak my mind, and that rubs a lot of people the wrong way. *shrug*

Yeah, and look where all those Pikas are now, lol.

There've been a few times when people hopped on Pika's ****..... the buffered CGs, the original 0-death, the uair > footstool stuff....

But people don't realize that while Pika's easy to pick up, he's really hard to play at a high competitive level. You have to have your MUs down really well and be able to stay constantly unpredictable. They pick him up, **** for a while, then start losing a lot, cry, and drop him when the fancy tricks they picked him up for stop working.

Pikachu only works for those of us who truly love him.

What's the best place in Philadelphia for cheesesteaks?

Man, **** all those touristy places (Pat's, Geno's, etc.).

The best cheesesteaks I get are from the corner place down the street from my house. I don't even know the name of the store, it's just the corner spot where I get ****ing delicious cheesesteaks.

The Pagano's around my way is also pretty good.

I've taken French, Latin, Italian, and Japanese (yes, in school, not from watching anime).

The only one I really remember well enough to speak/write is French. I can generally understand both French and Italian if someone's speaking or writing them to me, although I've lost a lot of the vocab.

I'm not much into politics, but I cried -- happy tears -- when he got elected. Despite the fact that the economy's still ****, I think it's a good thing that he's President.

Depends on the person. Some people (girls included) definitely look better with short hair, although I could never pull it off.

On guys, I generally think short hair is better. If it's long, it can't be girl-long..... it inevitably looks creeperish or cheaply vampiric.

Yeah, my ears are pierced. I don't have any other piercings atm, but I want second holes in my ears.

I wanted my tongue pierced for a while, but I eventually decided that I'm too old to have that **** done. Still might get my navel pierced, though.

What was your most intense match ever?

Uhh, probably playing diem at KTAR. I lost (badly, too), but his MK is so aggressive, it completely overwhelmed me.

Otherwise, I can honestly say I've never had a really intense match in tournament. Ever since my very first tourney, I've either 2-0'd or gotten 0-2'd in every single set I've played..... the concept of going to third match is foreign to me, lol.

I'm at this weird place where I'm either solidly outplaying my opponent or solidly getting outplayed. Neither makes for very intense matches, unfortunately.

What are some guilty pleasures of yours?

Oh deaaaar~

Evanescence.
Reality TV.
Other guilty TV pleasures: Degrassi, Gossip Girl, iCarly, and True Jackson, VP.
Food. Y'all don't even want to know how much I eat on a regular basis.
Dancing/singing to songs on YouTube.
SWF.

What do you find attractive in a man or woman?

The #1 thing a dude has to have to attract me is confidence. A guy can be hot as hell and perfect in every other way, but if he's weak willed or unsure of himself, I won't be attracted.

I mean, everybody has times where they doubt themselves..... I'm not saying he can't have those moments. And straight up arrogance is a no-no. But a guy being comfortable with who he is and being strong enough to admit his mistakes/flaws and change is the ultimate turn-on.

Do you have any pokemon toys?

Just a Pika plushie from NinjaLink and a Pika toy from Stealth, both of which I <3 to death. =D

What's your favorite pika move/combo?

Oh man, I love so many of Pika's moves...... ><

Ummm, I think my favorite move is bair. It's so god**** adorable, lol.

Favorite combo is good ol' fthrow > usmash. Feels good to get that guaranteed damage right out the gate.

Favorite jank combo is bthrow > bair. Shouldn't happen, but it's hilarious when it does.

Enjoying it and loving yourself and others. There are no other reasons to be here.

No, sorry to disappoint, lol. I've definitely been in my fair share, but it's not a slumber party staple or anything.

I'm actually not a fan of pillow fights..... some people hit way too ****ing hard, and that **** can hurt.
