I really hope that Squirtle can turn out to be a real threat to the metagame at some point. Right now, it's too hard to tell but it looks like he has some good options and the love of many players.

I've been using Charsquirtle lately. I would probably use vanilla or koopa Squirtle if I wasn't planning on making a red-themed combo video though.

Real men play as pink Squirtle. The orange and green are cool. Don't mind neutral blue, either.

I've picked up Pink Squirtle in PM as a secondary. He's pretty awesome. I kind of wish he was purple, though.

Naw, bubblegum pink is too good. I just wish they could give squirtle 10 colors and then different colors of alternate costumes like Wario's biker gear on him.

Bubblegum squirtle is incredible. I hate bubblegum, but I'm still calling him that name, because it just sounds cool. Squirtle should be proud to take his place alongside ROB as a secondary. Plus, bubblegum squirtle looks awesome with shades. Although, I have to admit, I have suicided in friendlies in order to get the shades back on him.

I'll agree that red is bottom tier. I find that I play more slippery whilst I play as purp squirt, and more slippery is always a good thing.
