Well the devs say new models (such as Roy and Mewtwo and alt costumes) cause lag in doubles. But that's a paltry limitation. :V

I find Teams to be the more interesting meta. Shame there's no official teams tournament, but I'd be down with entering a side tourney. I'd have to find a teammate there, though. All my normal teammates aren't coming.
