Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the stale move effect while in training mode?

He's not the only person qualified to answer that kind of question just because you explicitly asked him. If you have an Action Replay, you can enter debug mode, just like Bones said.

I know I'm being scrubby right now but I'm actually not too comfortable with the debug menu, what exactly do I have to do with it to turn off the stale moves?

Actually I noticed if I go into develop mode it's gone, but I don't want the screen to rotate with the c stick... Is there any way to make that not happen? I'd have the most perfect godlike setup if I could make that happen.

There's a code somewhere that gives the C-Stick Master mode functionality while in Develop mode I think. It was made by Magus iirc.
