so random aside-

so anyway i looked up the game which is apparently really hard. however, i also found this, which surprised me for good it was, so i thought i'd share it here:

DK Country 2 is easy mode. I should come up and beat that **** in a day sometime.

DKC2 is challenging, but not as challenging as people make it out to be. That said, one of my more proud moments was 102%ing the game on the VC with a Gamecube controller, which Nintendo decided to have a very stupid layout for that you cannot change.

B Jumps, Y Dashes, and A does the Teamwork functions. Had to claw the thing. A, B, and X would be a ergonomically better layout.

Brah i don't watch alot of anime however it does seem interesting so I'll give it a look.

I finished DKC2 recently. I'd say the game has too much of the dumb sort of difficulty, the "first time playing have no idea what happens next so die" kind. The platforming itself is not that challenging, neither are the bosses. Like I said, you only ever die because of not knowing the level, but if you memorize that **** even a bit, it becomes braindead.
Soundtrack is amazing, solid/10. Level design was not as good as DKC1, but still very fun and gotta admit there were some unique twists. Final boss is easily the best part of the game.

I dunno which I like more between 1 and 2, I haven't tried 3.
One thing's for sure though, Tropical Freeze is the best DK I've played.

Memorization was the name of the game in 8 and 16 bit platformers. Some games handle it better than others. I think DKC2 handles it better than most.

I still like DKC2 the best.
