I wouldn't think so @ ^, but even a lot of Brawl players don't mind taking out certain stages like 75m, Icicle Mountain and uh... Hannenbow.
Icicle mountain and Hanenbow have + versions which are a lot better than the original. I don't think the Hanenbow one is widely used though. And 75m can be replaced by any DK stage assuming no + version of it is made.

75m is being replaced with KJ64

summit+ is being updated. when i get done with it, it should have the floating clouds/icicle/animated background (will probably remove the icicle again, anyway). also, i may bring the ice platform back into the stage since it won't require the level freezer code anymore.

Yeah, I had a feeling that mods had this capability. However it does seem either limited or underused based on the tendency towards just replacing stages.

Speaking of water physics...
Jungle Japes should just have its water slowed down so that its actually "swimable"? You know, flowing maybe half its speed, or 4 times swimming speed... or something. That way it would be more survivable for some of the faster-falling characters if they slipped off the left platform. I'd keep the klaptrap the same speed though. Just a thought.

That's how they left it in B+. I was all for it at first but after playing on it a bit, I missed the water, lol. It kinda makes the stage make more sense...? Do you plan on having it like Melee with some "water physics" - mostly just some push to the left - or is it going to stay pretty much nonexistent?

Snake, Sonic, and Ike (despite Ike actually having few updates in recent time; he has QD canceling though so that's already awesome) are all looking pretty awesome.
There are many more playable characters with tech skill, depth, and a decent playstyle so far.

Pikachu, Link, Mario, Squirtle, Wolf, Ness, and Ganon have significantly improved. They are all interesting, very viable, and some of these characters have cool technical and movement options.

saw some recent vids of game n watch. curious, has he already had a decent amount of work done on him? cause his move set is exactely melee's and i think some of his brawl moves (like his nair and his recovery) should most def be included.

I don't think he's had a significant amount of work done, but he plays well enough so far.

He has Melee nair and a nice up-b with aerial options out of up-b.

They'll probably touch on him some more.

The things he is keeping from Brawl are the ability to act after his up-B, the kill power of his smashes, and a usable shield. Everything else is Melee or modified in some other way to be better or more useful. He's great!

okay nice! i saw like 10 vids of g&w and not one person acted out of his up-b so he looked just like melee. glad to hear his sheild is better...that's the main reason he sucked so bad in melee. his brawl nair was sick though, imagine that would do quite a bit of damage with melee physics.

I still think they should substitute his uair with brawl nair, but g&w already seems so freaking perfect, that it would probably imbalance him lol.

His Brawl up air has its uses. I used it to stop TL from sword planting me in the head the other day. You don't hit with it much but the upward air it produces is helpful.

somethings i noticed playing it for a bit.

ness fair leads into an auto grab on some chars so it seems. havent messed with it to much but its crazy good :)

lucas d air lead very often into f smash awesome!
d throw up smash works with no di char dependent of course.

kirby n air is ****!

bowser has gotten a well deserved buff!

marth new style is fun. very fast but no double f air atm but actualy im liking him the way he is! :)

i got more but just pointing it out

I saw a couple of videos and I noticed a few things:

1. Arent you guys going to add Melee's hookshot recovery to link? His recovery is pretty bad so I think he'll need it.

2. I noticed that Mario's down air will be melees drill, but I also noticed that he still has that water gun thing. If thats so, then how will he recover without tornado? unless you guys placed the gun in some other buttons or something. Otherwise, he will not recover from far away.

3. I was watching da shiz wiz vs Hungrybox and I noticed that Hungry couldnt grab to rest, not even in 0%. Are you guys fixing that or you will leave it as it is?
