Lol, no.2 in QLD.

As if Anthony would let that change. :p I WAS BRORN there ****it.

But seriously, no.2 in overall is reasonably silly. I don't even care about melee. But if the system is what it is, a combined ranking for smash overall, don't cry if you dont go to both.

Btw the first two lines were before I noticed the combined stuff.

Touchy topic. For both sides. Antho is doing the right thing though. Good Luck.

I hate Ghaya just as much as the next person but he attended both tournies and thats why hes where he is.

Zac i'll win the next one. You'll see.

Also tristan and radiance dont even have melee anymore. Played tristan the other day he cant even wavedash. So embarrassing. But hey if the starcraft tards wanna play that then be my guest.

SO yeah like Juggy said theres point arguing about this any further untill theres at least 2 more tournaments.
CALLED IT. lol

35th) Sieg: 15
36th) Sieg: 12
That's how good I am. Two of me.

Updated the Brawl ranks.
Will do Melee soon.

I've updated the OP with that image as well.

EDIT:

I want to remind people that while it may be somewhat indicative, it is not a power ranking. This is a reflection of player's success and more importantly participation.

I hope this is gonna motivate you guys a ton to participate as much as you can to improve your ranks!

Nick, even though you yourself might not think much of your ability to play (which I think you shouldn't because you are very good at Brawl), you still enter, and you still do the best you can in every match.

This reflects both tournament success and participation - something your results from the last three tournaments reflect quite clearly.

And look, DJ's placing well too!

Also I think I'll have to run rankings for both 'Overall Success and Participation' and 'Best 3 tournaments' or something to that effect. I was resistant to the idea at first, but I see the logic now. It gives players who may miss out on tournaments, or enter the scene later in the year a chance to shine no matter when they join in (Unless it's like LATE late in the year).

Bottom of the tier list.

Meteor
Wows, 7th. That Meteor guy looks pretty amazing right about now for an OoS player. =P

But really, I have no idea how I'm that high.

In an ideal world, you wouldn't be able to place that high because there would be too many tournaments for you to travel up to in a plane.

But you've attended two out of three tournaments we've held under the rankings system and placed very well at each.

So I'm glad that Brisbane is starting to bustle with activity. It'll begin to see a better spread, and begin to reward those players who want to attend and participate as much as possible.

It's quite exciting.

Either way, the only way you'd be able to retain your spot would be to continue coming up, which I doubt is viable (unless you're a rich kid).

Ah well, all I can say is bloody good job Vyse at doing this up.

Ahhh.
How do we rate doubles?
Doubles is more fun and needs more excitement, meow.
And we need more championship belts. :chuckle:

Yeah doubles needs more hype, its so overlooked.
So ratings and a belt would be good for it.

I have no belts, so if you can provide them that would be great.
Also a little title about who is the current champions would be great, maybe even if its just something people can put in their sig when they post.

Or for the facebook page it could show the current champions. :)

Rankings are good, keep up the good work Vyse.

only people who dont like singles are people who play with themselves, yes that was a sexual reference.
I think doubles are better too, but its a whole different mind set needed to be good at doubles.

when your partner dies and you run around blowing the crap out of everything while your opponents struggle against friendly fire, doubles IS fun. for me this only happened in qld though...

Doubles is fun when you're losing by 4 stock and your teammate is dead and you make a comeback and win.
<333

Singles is more fun, though.
More intense.
