Here's a tournament set of mine that I played a few weeks ago. I noticed that my spacing was off and I was playing kinda of stupid, but any advice or tips would be cool.

Here's another one that I randomly played online, it's a set vs a guy that was Fox and Lucas. So there were a bunch of mistakes because of lag, but it gives you more of an idea of how I play. I recommend watching this in High Quality since it's alot better.

I haven't faced a good Snake, but I'll try this out.
You should use some more projectiles on Snake(preferably at mid-range)and use a LITTLE more bombs.
I like to have a bomb out, SH(throw it)then arrow cancel into a SHNair(sometimes dash for two)then do whatever.
Bairs(or RAR'ing)work very well against Snake(from what I've played). I like some Bairs(depending on percent)and finish off with a Nair(usually won't kill though).
As you afore mentioned, your spacing wasn't the best, but you knew this yourself.

I hope this helped...I would love to face you..if I had online >_>. I don't have videos either T_T.

Yea, I usually like having a bomb out at all times.. but for some reason I wasn't projectile spamming as much. Juke is a smart player, and projectiles don't seem to work as well on him.

Trying to RAR him was tough as hell, his defense is solid. Also, if he shields a bair and you overshoot it or something.. he can just ftilt/jab combo or utilt for a kill. Spacing is tricky with Snake imo. His grenades can blow up in your face if you throw your projectile at the wrong time, ftilt and jab have good range, and snake dashing can help him get in your face.

Honestly, I don't like to spam projectiles much. I've always been more about attacking/approaching since Melee, but this is a different game and I guess I just need to play more patient/smart.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to keep them in mind.

and what do you mean by neo?

Very good at baiting them to shield, so you should really mix up more grabs with your approach too.

Ah I have such problems teching in this game!! In melee it was always a sinch, but the timing seems different.

I knew I should've grabbed more vs Juke's Snake, but I was afraid since it was tournament AND it was Snake. He could've gotten some good damage if I missed a grab. I guess I should've tried mindgaming into it more, but I wasn't thinking.

Thanks, I'm actually going to try that more since I always seem to have my opponents in their shield. I'm just afraid of missing because they roll or spot dodge.
