I have recently been watching some videos of Luigi and some of the players have been doing some ridiculous things with Luigi's up b. It looked as if they were somehow reaching heights that were impossible with just his up b alone so I'm asking if anyone can shed some light of this issue, and yes I have read the Luigi guide and have seen nothing of this method.

Double jumps. Down b can take you upwards if you mash. Horizontally they're using side b then a jump, an up b or a down b to recover.

I actually give props to Luigi's like Boss who can save their double jump so long. I cannot get Luigi's down+b to recover without using a normal jump at normal speeds. at 2/3, 1/2, and 1/4 speeds in training mode I can get it, but not 1x. He must mash the heck out of his controller or have a turbo button. ;) Props to Luigi's who can conserve that double jump!
