Ridley is an assist trophy?

The very top shows all the assist trophies, and Ridley is one of them.

As happy as I am to see Ridley is an AT, it dissapoints me that there are only 27 assist trophies, when Sakurai and Iwata made it out to seem like there were more ATs then PCs. Also, this deconfirms any other possible assist trophies like Geno, Krystal, Bowser Jr, and Midna.

Well supposedly Ridley was also found under the assist trophy section.

Maybe he's just rare. Or maybe he was planned on being an assist, but was disabled.

We found characters who aren't in the game (like Roy), so for all we know Ridley was planned as an AT but isn't present as one in the final product.

No, that clearly says ASSIST. He's in the enemy section, yes...but he's also in the assist trophy group.
