Whistle through his nado of you're on top, and them nair or up smash. IDR which.

Pivot grab his nado.

Run away and throw pikmin.

Uptilt is good, I think?

I'm no expert.

The best way I dealt with him was learning from Brood v M2K.
That is where I learned what to do, like whistling through nado and upsmashing.

You had it in the correct thread the first time. It might just be that we don't have enough experience with the matchup to answer.
From my observations:

- Just try to get away after taking a Dtilt on shield.

- Punish nado if you can, but don't get greedy and just rush in after it. If he retreats, you can always just get away and toss crap at him.

- Whistle to Nair works for getting grounded. Whistle in general is a good tool for getting back on/ grounded.

- Tilt your shield up when MK's nadoing it.

- SH FF Pikmin toss; Fair, pivot grab or DJ out to cover the rush-in (depending on spacing)

- Grab/pivot grab is really useful here (compared to Fsmash)

- DON'T GET SCOOPED

Yeah, you're going to want to run away in the GW matchup more than normal (which is a ****ing lot). Lots of pivot grabs when he approaches, lots of fsmash when you anticipate him about to try to close distance, a lot of usmash out of shield when he hits your shield with dair/turtle/whatever else you can get down. Practice usmashing oos against turtle. The timing might be a bit tricky if you aren't use to it but it's really simple once you get it down.

The matchup can be irritating but it's much more irritating for GW after you get a grasp on it. Best of luck to you.
