Seriously. All the females seem to be trash in Brawl, except for Zero Suit Samus. I don't know how Samus is stronger outside of her Power Suit.

Im so F-ing mad right now! You people create stupid threads like this but when it comes to actually improving samus and the tier list.....you fail to contribute. I know i made dumb threads here and there but i am ALWAYS trying to help people or better this board/samus. There are a SELECT few who throw up some USEFULL info on these boards but 90% of you do not. WTF is wrong with all of you? I know you want to have fun with the game and thats just fine but plz dont post in this board unless you also plan on trying to better this community.

Another thing, these boards are LAZY. Every match-up guide thus far has FAILED because people are lazy or just flat out attend events. How do you expect samus to ever get better with only 3-4 people actually DOING some thing with her? How do you people expect us to be noticed/respected if we cant even have threads like a video database(it took us a YEAR to get a UPDATED one) or match-up guide(mine is the 3rd one. it will not fail)?

And when people actually TRY to do something productive towards Samus's metagame you criticize them for being incompetent or flat out wrong.

You should not complain that people don't try these days, it's partly your fault that people have given up. If everything they do is wrong, and their attempts to correct themselves are wrong too, and your information is the only accurate source, why shouldn't you just do everything for us?

My apologies, Xyro. I agree with you, and I understand where you're coming from. I've tried my part, and you know that. The information I sent you, I've tried. I do care, because I've also told you the same thing what you said in here. I wish I could attend tournaments, Xyro, and I plan on attending Genesis this coming July. You can count on that.

n00b, that's old news. Xyro is trying this time. Yes, he did make joke threads and stuff, but he's also the one who made that ultimate database for Samus, and he was the one who suggested to me a number of times to create that Samus video thread, since the other ones sucked and were never updated. Xyro is trying this time, and he has stated before that we should all be attending tournaments to represent Samus. And hey, if we're not attending tournaments, we should be learning the match-ups for Samus anyway.

Don't say Xyro is partially the reason people gave up. We're all to blame, really, except maybe for the people who have actually tried to contribute in the Samus community. What Xyro said there, I told that to Xyro when I had my match-up guide up. I sent a PM to Xyro, telling him stuff like, "I'm tired of the Samus board. They're lazy." I told him, "They can all remain stagnant while I will improve. Hm. The stagnant Samus board." Seriously, that's what the Samus board is, and I'm with Xyro here.

I'm sick and tired of this laziness. No one is participating, or if they do, it's not a whole lot. Hell, I told people when I was making my Samus guide that they should participate with me in getting in-game experience so that we won't only be discussing in theory, but also in practice! No one, not one person that I know, bothered helping me here. I went to the Bowser board and the Captain Falcon board to collect information by brawling with different players, and no one else bothered joining me. I went to try the Diddy Kong board, and no one bothered. That's the stagnant Samus board for you.

There's only so much you can do with what you're given, no matter how much you try. The only way to increase anything is practice. Discussion of AT's is fine but AT's is not everything. Skill> AT's.

And even though I don't main samus, I love metroid and wish she got more recognition in the smash scene for brawl. (Granted I don't know if there is more representation for her or not, I've never seen samus mains in person..)

She is not a viable character and people don't feel like trying anymore. Look at the falcon boards, they've given up because there isn't hope.

That is terrible logic, an AT in one game doesn't automatically make it an AT in another. Now we're making assumptions, eh? No **** Zair isn't an AT? First, I said Advance Move, just like how you claimed Zair is an advanced move in your thread. Please never become a lawyer.
