why of course, my good man.

Apparently (meaning i haven't gone to see for myself, but i will be later today), Gamestop at Plaza Bonita will be having a midnight tournament this coming Sunday. I'm not too sure if the game will be Brawl or Melee, but im assuming its Brawl. Its open to anyone who reserves Brawl at that Gamestop location.

I'm not too sure of the day, but from what my friend said (who did sign up for it), says it going to be held Sunday at Midnight. He also said that the entry list is long.

Again, im goin there later today to confirm most of this info.

Since i've already reserved my copy of Brawl at another Gamestop, im planing on just putting in 5 dollars to reserve there, and just take it back after the tourney.

GameStop's Super Smash Bros. Brawl Biggest Tournament Ever.


Round 1: March 9th @ 12:01*
Round 2 District Finals: March 15th
Round 3 Regional Finals: March 29th
Round 4 Grand Finals: April 12th

The remaining 8 semi-finalists will be flown to San Jose where the finals will be held at GameStop's new tournament center. They will also be filming the finals.

Grand Prize: LCD TV screen, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo game library and $5000 cash
Prizes awarded to round winners as well. I hear round 1 winners get a Wii + Brawl.

whaaa? thats wierd. i went to 3 different gamestops and they all told me the same thing...that each gamstop was only allowed 25 entrants...oh well...the one in mission valley is closed already..and i registered for the one in Mira Mesa blvd..they are only allowing 22. and i was like 20th person to sign up. I will make some more phone calls tomorrow to see how many entrants each game stop is going to allow.
