Well we already have the pokemon trainer who has Squirtle Ivysaur and Charizard. I thought many people were pretty intrigued to see him in Brawl. But he didn't really have a counterpart as most do. They could take a few different routes with it. They could go anti pokemon trainer with a Team Rocket. Team Rocket can also go a few ways, it could resemble the games, and have Raticate, Golbat, and Grimer/Muk. Or it can take a anime standard and go with Meowth, Arbok, Weezing. It could also take Team Rocket in the sense of the newer anime with Meowth, Swoobat, Yamask/Co***rius (or any other pokemon they catch later in the series). The alternative to team rocket would be Gold, Gary Oak, or another random trainer (although the current one clearly represents red). Gold could be similar to original by using Pokemon like chikorita, quilava, and Ferligator. While Gary would have his pokemon from the anime. So Gary would most likely have Umbreon(his starter), Arcanine, Nidoking. Or a standard trainer could have starters from the fifth generation, Snivy, Dewott, and Emboar. What are your opinions? Would you rather have it be just the pokemon trainer or give him a counterpart. Discuss

EDIT: The pokemon with the *** in its name is the evolve form of Yamask.

Well if you go with the starter line-up idea, where the alternate or second pokemon trainer would have like totodile, bayleaf, & typhlosion then you would have to do one for each generation to be even & some what unbias or unfavorable to a certain generation, Team rocket would be a good idea but it would be really confusing picking pokemon for them excluding meowth, like classic arbok & weezing or Lickingtung & Victreebel..etc...etc Ash would be a good Idea, but since he has never been in a pokemon game, he fits in the 4th Party Character rule, so it's kinda weird, I would just do a Pokemon Trainer for each Gen & they would be like a color swap/ or character swap
