Sometimes when you FF your FAIR, you end up lying on your back. This gets so frustrating, is any way to cancel the landing lag?

SH-FF-FAIR. Anyway to cut out landing lag?

Same exact thing happens to me. The only consolation is that is happens to other characters too. So until or even if an alternative to L-cancel is discovered be more selective in using shff.

don't approach with f-airs. it would be great if you could, but its too laggy.
use b-airs instead, their quicker and have very little landing lag, even with fast fall.

learn to space your fairs so that you utilize its full range, then drift back away from the opponent.
If you don't do a Melee fastfall, you'll be fine. You can still fastfall the move, just make sure that it's finished before you hit the ground.
