Slipping? O_o

Ok, every once in a while, whenever I go to WD or jump off a platform, I mess up, my character slips off, and falls flat on their back. my question is, what is this? a messed up fall? an intentional slip-up like tripping? has this ever happened to anyone else?

also im waiting for the day somebody force-tumbles off a plat then techrolls towards the ledge, buffers a lightshield and barely gets off the marthkiller

If you react fast enough, you can hold down, and it should stop it, as well.

Exactly this.

The easier it is to WD with someone, the more likely it is to happen. It also happens if you light shield near the ledge of the stage and platform if you get hit off.

I think it only happens when your back is to the edge though, no?
