Exactly. I find them too similar for Ninten to be considered. Unless, like I said, they re-release Mother 1 and make him clearly different.

Ninten can't use Offensive PSi unlike Ness and Lucas, that's one difference. And his look is supposedly round-head, pretty different from the others.

i believe golden took them off the chart because no one was really sure weather or not nintendo owned any of the rights to their games

but i believe some one found out that nintendo are indeed co-owners of the rights and golden said he'd put them back on the chart at a later point

@Ninten: Nope. I'm pretty sure everyone else already covered why Ninten will not be on the chart.

@Aeron and Zael: Yeah, they will be brought back in the next update, which will be not for a while due to testing and speculation issues that have risen up (more than just Newtwo, mind you). Maybe by Sunday.

I'm not sure of Gray fox's chance but I heard somewhere Kojima wanted Revengance (Or simply Metal Gear Rising as it was back then) to be about Gray Fox. But his team and the marketing department instisted on doing it about Raiden instead. Since it was Kojima's wishes alone that got Snake in...

Iunno, Golden probably didn't make the reasons by the time I actually finished the chart. Any new Nintendo News shouldn't really affect the chart by now. You'd have to ask him.

We have talked about Sukapon briefly.

The character is not on the chart due to the fact that Sakurai said "to not expect him in future Smash titles". In other words, the character is not going to happen as long as the director of the Smash franchise says so.
