Smashing while grabbing

I know that you can just use the c-stick to make Nana smash while you grab w/ Popo, but using the Z button and C stick at the same time to charge a smash is pretty difficult. I dunno if it's because the Z button is so small or because both are on the same side of the controller, but I have a pretty low success rate when I try to do it.

Is there some sort of proper way to pull it off or another way?

Press the C stick a little bit earlier so lets say ure doing a Up SMash when the c stick is almost at the top press Z

you can practise this normaly pick any charachter and just practise smashing with Z+Cstick the opponents doesnt have to be in a grab to use the Z+Cstick

Make yur Grab button R Or L. Big, easy 2 hit buttons.
Try it, and Good Lux.

Yes, dont press them simultaneously. Cstick right before Z.
