I can't seem to get my wii to read the burned disc...

I've done everything this thing told me: http://www.smashboards.com/showpost.php?p=10210090&postcount=1496 ...

but the gc backup launcher can't read the disc... anyone know what i can do?...

hm... it says "drive is too new for dvd-r's"... is that bad?...

Yeah it literally means what it says. You can't run ANY disc back-ups with your current Wii drive. You could try to run hacked Melee off of a SD card or IDE hard drive though. The former is probably the more reasonable option.

You would need a SD or SDHC with 2gb or more, the Swiss GC app and the Swiss apploader for Wii, as well as a WiiKey SD (shouldn't cost more than 3-4USD) or similar to place into your memory card section.

Yeah newer wii's can't run DVD 's :/ only the old ones! GL though!
