**** that 0 landing lag sounds amazing
but i don't think i'm able to do that purposely (yet)
most of the time i get the one with regular landing lag, which i still think is kinda cool

dat angle

my pride and joy, the best controller i've ever used is starting to break :'(
the exposed wire has gotten chewed up over time and it's starting to disconnect the controller randomly, reading no inputs and i have to shake the wire for it to kick back in.

i might be able to resuscitate it with some tightly wound tape but it's not looking good :'( :'(

i really really don't want to break in a new controller, this one has been so perfect for a long time

NOOOOOOO

my controller is completely dead

this is a depressing day

:'(

quitting smash see yall it was fun

no...
don't go...

pleassssssssssssssse . . .
oh noooooooooooooooooo . . . . .

buy a new controller, and it takes time, but I'm pretty sure you can disconnect just the cord from it,
it plugs into the chipboard, and maybe use that one.
How easy it is to take out, I'm not sure,
but definitely doable.

so i havent had a good controller in a loong time, since before the active gamers in hugo's garage where i got ***** by larry in winners finals (wow how do i remember that). no johns tho i still beat/lose to the same people

basically here's what i need

i have a controller that is pretty much perfect EXCEPT that I can't needle/laser in the desired direction half the time. So I was thinking of putting in a new control stick into the old controller (if possible), and taking the rubber part off of the old control stick and gluing it onto the new control stick.

can anyone do this for me / show me how to do this

switching the stick won't help.
You'd have to switch the entire joystick module out.
I don't know how to do that (requires some soldering I think)

This is because the Plastic Stick sits on top of the module, so nothing is wrong with the stick, it's the module.
Also, don't rip off and then glue the rubber cap, just switch the whole thumbstick out with the one you want.

lol i remember me and my older bro soldering an old school ghetto mod chip into our ps2 so we could download and burn games for free. then after all that work we realized we bought the wrong one

idk why i would wanna mess with all that stuff when i can just switch the motherboard for the same effect

not true actually...
it's not the case that gives you the feel you want,
it's the chipboard/stuff on the chipboard itself,
it contains the stick and c-stick modules, which is the "feel" of the controller,
along with the buttons and their corresponding responders or w/e.

Replacing the cord is what you want to do if you want to keep that controller.

That **** sucks! I still don't know how to do that sadly (jump a car)

I remember at one of the UCSD's the car I was using died, and it was late. Lucky me zhu let us use his car and macd jumped it for us ('cause zhu didn't know how either, lol)

iirc one of the 4 ends (i don't remember which :( ) needs to be hooked onto some random bar or something, not a battery terminal
