Sonic amiibo help

My lvl 50 sonic amiib is handicapped 60% evertytime he loses a life this did not happen until I fed him equipment I do not know if this is a good or bad thing also he has a rainbow trail behind him to thank you

Check what your stats are at the side where it says bonus effects. You can feed him equipment but some have things that get added on.

I don't know anything about amiibo training. So much so that I can't even tell if the rainbow trail thing is a troll or not.

Benefit of the doubt, I think your best is to check with a forum that's more dedicated to amiibo.
