Hey Guy's! I'm pretty new here. I've been looking around on this site since the beginning of Sm4sh's development, and only recently have I made an account.
Anyway... Sonic has from I have seen placed consistently high in tournaments. So my questions are, how well do you think he will place in APEX? And how many Sonic players are attending?

My next question is: how do people get such quick reflexes? I've been playing Smash since the N64 days, and for some reason I can't seem to get any better.

I once did this reflex test that athletes have to take, and I destroyed it. I was in one of the higher tiers for it. I wish I remembered more specifics, but it was pretty neat. I wanted that machine just so I could do it for fun... It's like basically one of those arcade games where something lights up and you have to hit it immediately and it's a whole board of them.

Its so nice that a Sonic player got 4th place in smash 4. Thats pretty amazing! I wish I'd see 6WX play Zero to see how he plays against Diddy. Congrats to 6WX making it really far into the tourney.

I'm more inspired that 6WX is showing that aggressive Sonic can actually work at high level gameplay instead of defensive camping style Sonic. Passive-aggro is my style and I'll keep pushing it to become the best Sonic I can be.

YES I agree. So nice to not only see a sonic finish that high, but also show that the character can indeed GO FAST like sonics are SUPPOSED to go and win. Especially that match against that duck hunt/lil mac, it wasn't even close. Like crack. 6WX is my new hero and I hope I see him on the board more.
I had a feeling that 6WX would finish high at Apex. I've been watching his matches since November and he's improved dramatically. He's always been my favourite Sonic to watch and I was shocked that he wasn't ranked on the first page on the rankings here. He's been on a tear recently and it's great that the masses got to see his skills at Apex.

6WX is the reason I took up Sonic. Honestly, 6WX could have gotten 2nd at Apex. At one point he figured Dabuzz out (in his final match at Apex), but Dabuzz quickly threw out a few lucky hits, well not that lucky but it still... And 6WX got taken out swiftly. He could have done it though. The potential is there.
Sky made a comment that 6WX's adaptability is amazing and really it truly is. He can really handle his own with some of the top players. Keep it up 6WX! I'm rooting for ya!!

6WX was my absolute highlight of the tournament, loved his play style! When he got the early backthrow kill on Nakat I laughed so much. This guy is my Smash hero, I'll cheer for him every match. Looking forward to great new Sonic players emerging and winning tournaments! : )

I took 4th in my pool and only top 2 advanced... And top 2 was seeded. Yay. I think there were at least 16 people per pool.
So I ended up placing 193rd out of 734 entrants.

Thought it was going to be a close match based on your strong opening but once J Miller adapted it was complete domination. Nothing against you but seeing a (I assume) top Sonic player get demolished was quite satisfying.
