Spikefest - Wii U - 12/20/14

On the day that every couple wants their wedding, I give you a tournament! That's right! There will not be another consecutive date for 89 years!

Rules will be 3 stock, 8 minute, 2/3 with 3/5 for semis and finals, with a stagelist TBD.

Settled! It's 10 AM EST. Rules will be posted on the challonge page and here by 10. Also, please be on #Pinnacle (pinnacle is the name of my tournament series) by 10 so we can coordinate matches and such. Try to keep it clean, and avoid cluttering it with tons of messages so that matches can be coordinated properly. Also, (as it's short notice you won't be DQ'd if you don't do this) please check in on the challonge page between 9 and 10 so I know you are okay to participate. Anybody who wants to sign up who hasn't already should do so before 9.

Ya 10 AM should be fine, a friend of mine who lives in the UK had second thoughts on entering when he seen 7 PM, but now that its earlier he should be able to join. Also too answer your other question the friends I'm referring too are joining via there own consoles not mine, one of them has already entered on Challonge "zDuvine."

Signed up for the tourney under the name of 3rdStriker. I'm the UK friend Vivid Sniper was talking about, so 10 AM should be either 3-4 PM here. If I can't do the tourney due to time or whatever, I'll leave the tourney and post beforehand saying I can't make it.

To whom it may concern:

I will be on the irc chat at 10 AM EST again this Saturday. Meet me there and we'll put together whoever we have and see what we can do. At this point, my hopes of finishing what we started are slim, in which case we'd start a new tournament. Since chances are we'll be starting over, anybody who wants to can join in, feel free to post and I'll inject you into the bracket should that be the case. Thus, the title of this thread has been changed to "Spikefest - Wii U - 12/20/14".

Also, last week there was some backup on reporting scores. If you signed up using a Challonge account last week, or otherwise have one, you can report them yourselves. Customarily, it is the winner's responsibility to report.

Furthermore, I'll likely be hosting some other events during the break, (I know this one didn't go as planned but admittedly things come up when you plan it that far ahead) so stay tuned!
