this video is basically done - all the gameplay segments are done minus a couple touch ups here and there - i have credits and an intro to do.

Gimpy you know you shouldn't turn this into a DVD. This is your GIFT to the melee community. Selling the footage of the entire community just doesn't seem like the right thing to do, and it's also a huge hassle ^^ Anyways, I'm really excited for it. I'm glad this turned out so well :]

YES! You could pick out your favorite and least favorite combos, and your favorite and least favorite comments on your videos as well, lol. You could also add a "Weak combo that nobody really cares about" additional bonus and put in the wombo combo, like as something seperate from the actual combo video for jokes, lol. I would buy one for sure, if you signed it of course!

If u sell it, sell it 4 the cheapest possible price u could while still makin enough money back that it doesnt cost u more 2 produce it then u make but slight profit would b alright i guess since u did put it together and spent alot of time and effort on it, but still post it on the youtube............................ make a collectors edition dvd or something a few months after it's out, with "exclusive" (and by exclusive, I mean it gets uploaded to youtube by the first person to buy it, lol) audio commentary, interviews, and bonus features... The biggest problem with putting it on dvd would be the very ununiform quality that plagues most combo videos. Some really good combos that you will inevitably have to use just aren't available in high quality. Watching it on download or youtube isn't too bad, but of course, it's a different story when you're watching it full screen on a tv.

i think you're all misunderstanding the dvd concept (well not all of you) there is NO WAY i'd make this video exclusive to dvd only - the video itself will ALL be uploaded free of charge to download AND stream (i'd prefer it being downloaded - and it's best to watch it that way)

the dvd would be the combo video plus some commentaries about why i chose what clips what surprised me in the making of hte video who made it in that i didn't expect who DIDNT make it in that i expected etc etc

there'd probably be some extra footage that was cut out

maybe i'll even design a shirt or something who knows LOL (that one is unlikely - but Super Smash Bros Metagame shirts would be sooooooo tight)


EDIT: oh - just to be clear - the thing i'd be selling would be the commentary the signature and whatever else i actually make outside the combo video - the combo video itself is just a "throw in for free" because i don't think i can legally sell that with all the different music and clips from games and the like LOL
