leffen: You can't always just say you're trolling or being sarcastic and everything will be OK =).
Ally: Don't know if you understood the boat thing, but we (swedes) took a boat over to Finland. It broke, so we had to take the next one, and arrived late.
LzR: "You were welcome to our tournament" and "Be happy you were allowed to come" sounds very much like you didn't really want us there, but just helplessly watched it happen. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope everyone (swedes) at least agree that all fails were only in the tournament itself (organization) and not the people and the venue or its location.
Also I'm sure they had a great time during the boat trip. I was too tired after driving so I went to sleep early =).

LzR: Yeah I was just pointing out that it sounded a little rude... =)

I did lol just funny it was the reason, seems amazing though wish we had these here >.>.
They are these floating casinos full of drunk finnish people, giving finns a bad reputation in Sweden. Fortunately, these people spend lots of money in the tax-free shops, making the trip itself very cheap for us who only want to get to the other side =).

I don't trust your download lol
You should, Game of The Year 2011 nominee for sure :>

I had an incredibly good time, everything from Mega Man to Mario Party was unbelievably fun and all the new people and of course the swedes were really nice and chill. Too bad we had these kinds of conversations regarding to bashing players but good it is settled now, although I'd still like to see Izaw posting on the matter.

We'll try to get the Brawl videos uploaded tomorrow.

At least I had lots of fun!
I really like the finnish community, at least the guys/girls I spoke with.

Salevits, his girlfriend (don't remember the nick, sry :( ), the little gangstah guy that was really cute, Samo, WMK, Nipi, Peki, RT, Vilness etc.
I did not even speak with all the finnish players but I really liked the ones mentioned above, and more ofc.

Leffen is a really nice guy but is somewhat of a troll xD
I'd love to come back to finland for another tournament, had lots of fun!
I was the (awesome) guy in the panda hat that was dancin', as you could probably tell, I really enjoyed my stay, haha!

It was extremly stupid to have the tournament start at 10.00 when the swedes arrived so late.

But I had lots of fun, other then that it was a great tournament =)

WAIT ARMADA WON A EURO TOURNAMENT?

Incredible

UNBELIEVABEL
I think you will find that is spelled "UNBELIEVABLE" :reverse:

Overall I sucked like a mf in pools and realized I suck with ganon now that I don't main him and need to use him more when not practising Luigi. Moderately pleased with teams once we switched to playing Luigi + CF but having lost to the finnish team that went furthest and the fourth best team overall I can't complain too much when we had never teamed before me and MikeHaggar.

I had a great time even though I didn't speak too much with any finnish player and only played friendlies with Jekkukissa (which name I have probably pronounced as Jekkukukisssa and Jekkukukissika before knowing it properly ;)) in the end.

gotta write a few shoutouts:
paju: nice seeing you again, shame we didnt play =). i didnt play alot of smash at this tournament at all lol. =(
mayhem: nice marth, looking forward to playing you again =). i need to get better at the matchup. lots of friendlies at beast 2!!!! love the matchup
mastertk: nice sets in bracket and pools =). i think our pools set was better since we both choked less. in our bracket set i countered my own choking with acting cocky lol XD hope you didnt take it personal, it wasnt =). your falco is really good and the way you laser camp is impressive. looking forward to playing you again! =)
zäp: you seemed like a really funny & nice guy, and keep repping that zelda XD.
best: nice set in bracket. last knee was so lol XD. cant wait to play you again!
naminami: your falcos really good and i wish we wouldve played more then like 2 friendlies lol =P

overall as i mentioned i wish i wouldve played and hung out with the finns more. all the thrashtalk and that stuff is just for fun lol.
my john for not playing more is that i was really tired throughout the tournament. but i still had fun and played really well in the bracket sets where it mattered. =)

swedish shoutouts will be on the swedish forum =)

Leffen: Great friendlies would have liked to face you in tournament too. Very entertaining playstyle.
Mikehaggar: Nice falcon, you rarely messed up a combo when you got it started.
Armada: Those 0%->50% combos with FCnairs were ridiculous :D
Pepito: Close matches against your falco, but fox was too good.

Copied my shoutouts to swedes from our forums.

Not sure that will I come to beast 2 depends on who else from Finland would be coming and will I get motivation back. But see you there if all goes well :)

The stagelist in Beast 2 sickens me that I'm probably not coming solely because of that reason. That is a shame since I'd otherwise be glad to come :<

The Brawl videos are being uploaded at the very moment.

This tournament was great, and all people were very nice and I enjoyed it so much! =) This event and all players are very hard to forget! The only downside with this tournament was the "biased" seeding. =/ Like, ccst and Skinutski met each others in the pools, why did they then meet each other again in the brackets? I think you must seed better next time...

But otherwise, I am really looking forward to the next event I am going to and to see you guys again! <3You were awesome! Smashing the Brawl scene and the Melee scene together is a REALLY good idea, I wish Sweden would do that too. But man, this event was too great and enjoyable!! =D Thank you all!

yes having brawl and melee at the same tournament was really great.

made each scene realize how bad it was and most will never go to a tournament with both games again.

Btw, there were only two girls at Tampora, right? One was Samo I think and the other girl was a Melee player?

leffen: I think it was great. If you get tired of melee there is Brawl and vice versa! =) But honestly, if a melee player took care of the melee tourney, it would be smart if a brawl player took care of the brawl tourney or something.

AFAIK that's because Schwa got better seed than ccst and was "supposed" to knock ccst to loser's bracket. So it wasn't "biased" seeding, it was correctly seeded. And yeah it sucked that Pepito and Leffen had to play each other as early as in WQF and that was tried to be fixed, but it couldn't be done easily if I remember correctly. So the seeds were just made from the correct numbers and nothing was changed, so there really should be no bias in bracket seeding... And atleast I enjoyed very much having brawl and melee scene at the same venue.

omfg the seeding, it was so bad, people met their pool mates second round... no fkn excuse covers that up (especially with 8 pools... jesus).

The seeding was difficult because we had mixed opinions of the swedes as we couldn't compare you directly to us. But as Paju said, ccst winning Schwa was one of the many so-called upsets of the tournament which lead to Skinutski and ccst facing each other.

leffen is a loser and mad at Brawl resulting in stupid conclusions

Well I was speaking for the brawl bracket. And afaik the melee brackets were made from straight from the numbers (which were right, Armada also approved them)but I don't know and honestly don't even care even though I faced peki in 2nd round winner's and we were from the same pool (actually MasterTK "was supposed" to beat me but didn't and that's why we met so early with peki). I don't know do you know anything about how the seeding works but with all your bashing without giving well explained reasons, it looks like you don't and thus you just make yourself look stupid.

And yeah, you and MasterTK also faced 1st round losers (when you were at the same r2 pool) in BEAST but as far as I remember you weren't complaining about that at all LOL

armada didnt approve them jesus, get your facts straight paju.

rtpmwe was supposed to ask armada about brackets but he didnt even get the chance to, and when we finally realized how horrible it was RT said "But we already started now sorry"...

The only thing armada bothered to change was me facing pepito, the rest had started playing and were way to ****ed up already.

Also, why the hell was I RANDOM seeded in brawl? lmao.

People beating some1 they arent supposed to is a HORRIBLE john for facing someone from your pool in a fkn 32 man bracket. Seriously, if you are that bad then just let someone else make the bracket or at least ask for some feedback (even the swedes weren't seeded correctly internally, esp teams)...

If I had won vs Pepito (was last stock, 180%) I would've faced skinutski too... and in losers I faced Jaxi, who was from my pool.
The bracket(s) had an insane amount of flaws, any decent TO would've instantly noticed.

oh and suprise suprise, the overrated themselves greatly, just as every single swede knew they did.

@Loota

LOL, I'm not even mad at the bracket being delayed (I didnt sleep much anyway), I, however, was greatly dissapointed in the overall quality of the tournament (bracket).

Paju: Armada told me that he okay'd of the seedings (and he also told me that several of the fins were overestimating themselves but would never admit it so he conceded many seedings) and that was for the pools, the real problem came in bracket (which everyone wanted armada to be in on, but nope).

We had 5+ GREAT tournament hosts there, and no one was even allowed to suggest things and when they/I did, TO just played friendlies or ignored it.

Shut up LZR, you didnt even attend/enter/come to bracket at melee. I asked several times and for example, when I yelled around 5 times at RTpmwe to come change the bracket he, after his tournament set (and yeah he heard), just went to play friendlies.

Wasnt there someone else who smth similiar btw?

Umm... I sended him the message with those exact number RTpmwe did use for bracket seedings and he said those were fine. Wait few minutes and I take print screens of them and send tou you if you don't believe, but yes he said he want's to help to get country seeding right. And I also agree that it would've been good if RTpmwe would've let Armada help but I really honestly don't care so much as the numbers for bracket seedings were fine.

And yea I also approve many finns overestimated themselves and pools were seeded incorrectly. But that wasn't what I was talking about.
