I think there are a wide range of characters on each spectrum. Competitively play should be much more varied compared to melee ^^.

I'm rootin for

BEST: Grass Pokemon
Worst: Sonic -_-

I predict that Wolf, Zsamus and Marth will be top tier. However I think the gap between the higher and lower tiers will be much closer.

It's really to early to tell everyone seems to have a lot of protenal...well maybe besides Kirby or Yoshi but I really don't know enough about them to say for sure, no one does.

I agree with Tristan. Only time will tell which characters are good and which characters aren't as good. Though we all know that Wario is instantly the best in the game
