Actually, I'm really chuffed that stuff like this still happens in games. I thought all the days of "mysterious beta material" was over. It's really nostalgic. :D

That's possible, but the songs respective names are "Beware of the Forest's Mushrooms" and "Toadworth's Forest". The song from M&L2 really has nothing to do with mushrooms.

But Toadsworth was not in SMRPG, yet he was in PiT.

Someone simply found the names of the files with the rest of the names to the music that is in the game. It is unknown at this time whether the music on the disc can still be listened to. I really wish I could ask Sakurai about all of the cut content from Brawl. Was he taking stuff out as a result of the two delays?

It's just amazing what we have for a game and what we could have had. I'm not complaining because "LOL NO RIDLEY" or anything, but it's a slap in the face that certain obvious and expected additions (Clefairy Pokeball, Sothe Assist, etc.) got the mighty Sakurai Axe. It's really a shame.

You know, those ATs that were reported earlier probably should be axed, because it's pretty clear they were not cut. They were never there to begin with. Outside of the Mario series, each franchise got one AT. One. Things like Sothe, Duster, the Pegasus Knights and so forth break that trend that we see in the final game. Also it makes no sense to just take them out like that, and so far nothing has been said about them in the coding, so it's really clear that they were just lies. =/

I agree. there's no photographic evidence of them being in Brawl, just testimonials. and there's no junk data of them in the disc, but there's junk data of the cut characters and the missing music files. the same applies for the pokemons.

So you know... "Because I Love you" is on the list of cut songs already. Which is Fourside. It probably got a new arrangement, so there was no need to bring the original Melee one back.

I honestly think this is Saria's Song. Here is why.

In Iwata Asks Volume 6 of his Brawl Segment, on the first page scroll down to this Quote by Sakurai.

With this in mind, we prepared several songs for each stage and provided players with the "My Music" feature, the option to control the likelihood of a stage playing a specific song. (See document)

You can click where it says See Document. It has Song of Saria listed as an optional song for the Temple stage. Now we all know that Saria's Song was, in Melee, alt music for Great Bay. Since Great Bay is not in Brawl, Song of Saria may have been planned to be played on Temple, but then cut.

The reason those where cut out was because Brawl could NOT fit all that data and be able to play and do wifi.
But if they did NOT cut it out then Brawl would have serious disk reading errors and gamers would complain and want their money back, making them redo the whole thing again. If they did not cut them, they would have had to make a completely new different wii, wifi that wont crash your system. Brawl already is over 7 GB, no need for more.

Yea, it was kind of suspicious on the music.
