..I remember a few years ago when I started supporting Ashley and when I found out she wasn't in Brawl, I made two stages on Stage Builder mode and added her Japanese and English theme songs and even named the stage Ashley's Stage and I can already see her move set.

She could use dark magic while Zelda already uses rather Light/Friendly/Disney magic.

I think I'll update the OP tomorrow with more information on why she would be an interesting character in general, and a few minor additions like music and a gallery of official artwork, and more on her minigame in Game & Wario.

Spruced up the OP a bit with a flashy new Ashley Banner below N3ON's one, which I extracted from her minigame's title screen in Game & Wario. With so many new users, it's a perfect opportunity to raise some more support, (so that she gets in by Smash 5 atleast.

If anyone from wario ware gets in I hope it is either Mona or Ashley. They both would be extremely unique and quirky and Ashleys melancholic snarky and lugubrious attitude is extremely adorable. But I feel Mona is more likely and Sakurai does prefer WarioWare over Wario Land so shes probably more possible than Syrup. (That's why we don't get a lot of female fighters- they are all chilling with Wario *shivers*)

It strikes me as strange that this character doesn't have more support. It's pretty much because of my Miiverse drawings that the character has even come on my radar but I could easily see her being a dark horse in SSB4 akin to how Pokemon Trainer was in Brawl.

Pokemon Trainer is the main character of his game though. Ashley is a (Very cute and lovable) side character to a smaller franchise.

Right, but Pokemon Trainer wasn't really expected and not a lot of people actively wanted the character. I'd argue that Ashley is a similar case in those regards.

True, but not being expected or particularly wanted is hardly a positive or a point in a character's favour. Even if unexpected and unwanted the Trainer is still hugely instrumental to his series, as are most unexpected/unwanted characters that have been included, which is more than can be said for Ashley.

Considering she's more popular then Mona in Japan (i think) she would probably have more priority. To an extent.

I am not sure if that helps her too much. Mona is usually thought to be the most likely 2nd warioware rep (or Jimmy T.) and popularity doesn't always help characters out.

Well I am just saying yeah a character being known does help but when you look at ridley and stuff... it really depends on how they feel and if the character will add anything new to the series.
