confirmed. Sending Supplies.
In many video games, the player may discover a random object that includes something seen frequently in another video game series, or something that represents something from another series or game. As most of us know, these are generally referred to as easter eggs. Most of the time, these are well hidden and were deliberately added to the game, just to test how well we pay attention to our surroundings.

Here are a couple of examples from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time:

In this image, we can clearly see pictures of Mario, Luigi, and Bowser from the Mario series.

In this image, Malon happens to be wearing some sort of necktie with Bowser's head at the front. Strange, isn't it?

The purpose of this thread is to discuss mysterious easter eggs seen in any game or any strange game secret that's not actually considered an easter egg.

I love all the easter eggs in Mario RPG. You can find Link sleeping at an inn, Samus sleeping in the castle, and even models of the Blue Falcon, Fire Stingray, and Arwing in an underground shop. Easter eggs are so darn cool!

In Mario Kart 64, the blocks in Bowser's Castle in the corridor with the "homing" Thwomps are from SMB3.

In Mario Kart DS, the Brute (Wario's default car) honks identically like the Mario Kart 64 vehicles.

Kirbys Dreamland 3 is also filled with easter eggs. One level has you fight Metroids to help Samus, and another has you assembling ROB. Kirby Superstar also had alot of Easter eggs, with hidden treasures like the Falchion, DK Barrel, Koopa Shell, Triforce, and other Nintendo items.

Lots of Zelda games have cool easter eggs. You can find Cheep cheep in Four Swords Adventures, a Chain Chomp and a Yoshi doll in Links Awakening, and pictures of Mario in A Link to the Past. You can also find a Mario mask on the Happy Mask Salesman's bag in Majora's Mask.

Lakitus are in Minish Cap, and Kirby is on a poster in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Also, Pikmin 2 has a Game & Watch as one of the treasures.

What about E.T.? When you stand in a place you can clearly see one of the developer's initials
You've PLAYED E.T.?

Is it as bad as they say it is?

Another Easter Egg:

If you press Mario, then Luigi in Mario Kart Double Dash, Luigi will say Luigi-o!

(He actually says the "o" in his voice, it's not an overlap.)

M&L Superstar Saga also had a poster with Starfy on it. There were others in addition to the Kirby one mentioned earlier, though I cant recall them.

In Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Master and Crazy Hand appear as bosses. If you inhale one of them after you defeat them you get the "Smash" Ability. This let's you use Kirby's moves from Melee (Side-B, Up-B, Down-B, A-combo, and N-air).

Stamping your library books.
At one point in Paper Mario: TTYD, you are able to drop through a ceiling and into a dressing room. When you emerge from it, all of the characters in your party will be 8-bit style, and the music changes to a retro song.

Unfortunately, this only lasts until you exit the room.

Can't you also do that in the original Paper Mario on the N64? I remember jumping into some sort of chest or something in this haunted mansion and the same/similar results occurred.

In Zelda: OoT Talon and Ingo represent Mario and Luigi. Talon already looks like Marion and Ingo is seen in a fire Luigi look.
