First time I played gold I didn't know how to get past the start (blame english skills fail) and I levelled Cyndaquil 'til he evolved and past that before finally getting past the battling pokemon. Needless to say, Cyndaquil is a standard now.

D/P/P is an amazing gen, get 'outta here.
R/S/E is the worst generation by far. No innovation, boring antagonists, stupid HM08. Seriously, Dive is the dumbest **** ever.
Gen1 Bulbasaur (easy mode), Gen2 Chikorita (cuted mode), Gen3 whogivesa****( terriblegen mode), Gen4 Chimchar (****** final evolution mode)
I've only ever played DPP with Chimchar lol, Piplup and Turtwig are so stupid.

D/P/Pl ruined the Pokemon metagame, and I cannot forgive it for that.
The game was okay.
I like D/P/Pl metageme.
Gold and Silver was very campy and annoyng.
The only thing that's very dumb it's Stealth Rock.
Only that move ruined almost all the fire, ice, bug pokèmon metagame.
Gen 1 Charmender (lol), Gen 2 Chickorita (Totodile is very commercial here
), Gen 3 Mudkip obviously, gen 4 Chimchar.

I liked it being campy.

Ultraviolet would be a color if our eyes could see past violet, as well as infrared and red.
