So I had to rebuild my vBrawl codeset because I no longer had one.

And I was adding the general codes... colored shields, name sort, replay stuff, my music modifiers for victory themes and such..

And I wonder, where do we draw the line for such things?

There's a code which allows when moves clank, a SFX plays. Now this doesn't actually affect gameplay at all, but is this permissible? I know I tend to bend the rules of such things (as anyone who played on my Wii at the last tourney knows, the textures I had on it. Yay Brinstar Smashville).

I just feel it's something that needs to be asked. I know Tin has some issues with as silly things as portrait hacks (lol)... but yeah. Where do we as a community feel the line needs to be drawn?
