my new job is going pretty well and im super happy about it (albeit, exhausted. deadlines are fast paced and im losing some sleep)

Star Ocean, a JRPG series akin to Tales. I've played almost all of them, and I liked them all, even 3 and 4 which are considered "controversial" entries in the series and I guess are kinda base breakers. Still enjoyed them though

The devs initially said 4 was gonna be the last one. I guess they changed their minds
