Ok I have a question that has been bugigng me...
Where in gods name is the third bomb bag?! I keep looking for it and all I'm finding are my heart pieces. Not that I care about finding hearts but I just want all three bags...

Did you beat the river boating game where you have to score 25 points? If that isn't the bag I'm pretty sure you need to blow up the huge rock you dropped into Zora's Domain and free the goron inside of it and he gives you a bomb bag (I think thats what he gives you, been a while since I did that).

More story spoiler discussion!

They sorta do one other thing, they blow stuff up in the castle, but yeah they do kind of stop mattering really quickly. The girl thing is pretty annoying, spend a few hours getting her memory back and then she gives you a horse call and then she does nothing. I guess I was too busy enjoying Midna's awesomeness (shes so good). A shame it wouldn't make sense for her to come back after she blew the mirrior of twilight up.

If you save in the cannon room it happens. If you don't know what the cannon room is then just wait for it and don't save in it (the glitch makes you get stuck in the room forever).

Edit for the question

I think you need to wolf it up and dig around outside. Not outside the dungeon, but in the outside IN the dungeon, the courtyardish thing. I'm pretty sure theres a chest in there with a key in it (or you need to jump through an open window out there and you will be on your way to getting the key). I need to re-beat the game to remember things...

K, so just after getting the
Clawshot,
I've got a pretty decent grasp on the game.

So far, my thoughts:

PROS: Amazing graphics. Some think it's ugly, some call it blurry, I don't see it. I just see amazing artistic style, and that's all that matters to me. I love them so much.

Intense battles.
That carriage escort with the huge breasted lady (Wtf was up with that?) was intense.

Pro items.

Good music.
I love hearing the remixes to a lot of OoT's themes, like the Serenade of Water when you meet the Water Spirit lady

Flawless controls.

My only cons are minor annoyances.

I love the
Zora Armor!!!!
CONS:

I hate how you don't have the option to not leave the rupees behind in the chest. If it's a 100 rupee chest, and I have 201 rupees, I want to take 99 god**** rupees. Also, they should mark it down on your map that you've already opened it. I go back looking for heart pieces and it's just a chest I already opened and forgot about. Annoying.

I dislike the pointer moving my camera around when I'm in C-button camera mode, that's annoying. Not sure if you can turn it off, I know you can turn the faerie off, but still.

Tears of Light were kind of a pain sometimes, but nothing too big. It was still fun.

One type of bomb per bag? Seriously lame.

I also want to be able to zoom the camera out when I'm riding horseback, it's kind of low down.

But that's about it though. Thoughts? All in all, an amazing game, makes me become so spoiled when it comes to art design. Why can't all games be this **** cool?

The bosses are currently my biggest disappointment in Twilight Princess. While I do still absolutely love the game, the bosses continue to disappoint me. For one thing, I never really feel in danger. The bosses rarely attack, and if they manage to score a hit, they knock off like a quarter of a heart. The boss art is beautiful, but their stupidity damages that image. It is far too easy to poke around just a bit, find the weak spot, and destroy it.

I dunno. Maybe this is an indicator that being 22 and playing video games don't mix so well anymore. :(

No idea about cave of ordeals, but the third tunic is the magic armor. You must complete the Malo market donation side quest (both parts), then pay 598 rupees in the malo market in Hyrule. THis is straight from nintendo power, so if its wrong, not my fault. 3598 rupees is more than I have right now...

EDIT: Anyone who has beaten the game helps please:
I have gone thru all of the twilit dungeon and can't find the boss key. Where is it?

Buzz you haven't gotten all the way through yet right? Near the end the bosses can actually hit you, just wait for it (and by near the end I mean the last two, and the second to last is only if you get confused like I did).

I'm a huge fan of one monster...

The big armory guy/dread knight/whatever the crap you want to call it. The one that has a shield and big mace thing and once you beat the crap out of him he whips out a rapier and becomes fast and at least decently hard to kill unless you spam the one attack he can't handle (which is a boring way to kill him IMO). My favorite fight in the game is fighting two of them at once (realllllly at the end), they manage to take some hearts away.

I agree with Delorted on the graphics. Simply beautiful, especially
the Twilight Realm
so pretty...

Also the random minigames rule.

I'm guessing you are at the begining? I think that, once you are in the main room, you have to go right first. If you ever go into an area where you can hookshot too, but can't do anyting on it but drop, then don't do it. The item of the dungeon is another hookshot, which lets you shoot off of one target to another.

I can't believe I missed that I would have caught it if
I just looked at the map. Everytime i pressed the Z button it would lock on to the thing floating in the air.

answer to your question:

In one open area, there is a large "waterfall" of darkness, that you can cut through and find a ledge behind. You can use your double clawshots to climb upwards here.

Well, take the first boss from the Forest Temple, first instance (Diababa). Yes, it's understandable that the first boss should be gentle due to the player so young at that point. However, it takes years for the plants to make a strike. It's almost as if the designers expected the player to stupidly run into the purple water over and over in hopes of slashing the boss. I think adding something simple such as respawning plant creatures in Link's vicinity would've given the fight a bit more zing.

I dunno. My opinion is that there should at least be an unlockable HARD MODE similar to that of Metroid Prime. I feel so bad in thinking that the creators of Twilight Princess put far more effort into making the bosses look cool than into their AI. This is a particular area where Metroid Prime shines: the bosses really give you a run for your money. Oftentimes, I emerge from a boss fight with barely any life left because the fight is spent trying to effectively trade hits. In Zelda, I feel like following an overly simplified recipe: lock, use item, slash weak spot, rinse, repeat. I usually emerge having been hit no more than twice if even that. :(

Buzz, how far are you into the game? The bosses stay rather easy, but they do get harder.
The last boss has five individual stages, and I died at all of them except for the first one

People died in this game!? I thought it was pretty easy (but harder then the others, they need to either crank damage up or do something else).

About the last boss...
The last boss has only 4 stages I thought. The first one is classic, almost cloned from OOT. The second is decently tough, the third kicks the crap out of you unless you start up well in which case it dies insanely fast (the hardest part about it is you can't get stuff on the ground because they didn't put crap for you to destroy with hearts in it all over the ground) and the fourth part is the most epic fight ever and has some pretty cool music to boot. Unfortunately it has a lot of hearts and even a fairy on the ground for your healing pleasure.

The ultimate challenge. 3 hearts, no shield, and
Only use the Ordon sword, except where you HAVE to use the master sword, which rarely happens.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!

Yeah, the bird pretty much does nothing except
when you refuse to pay.

It seems like I'm taking the longest out of everyone here that has the game. I'm about to start the fourth dungeon and have already racked up about 20 hours. I'm guessing I'm just slow...or spending too much time on the sidequests.
Stupid Poes.

I finished the game at about 44 hours. I skipped a lot of side quests, so I've barely begun to tap into the game's potential. I was just too anxious to finish the core game.

Doesnt do anYThing you say? O_o

this bird changed my life and many others, it teaches you many important life lessons such as not to steal, and grow a fro

and i quote frobird(the only words he knows XD) "kwaa dont steal"

it doesnt need to do anything, his pure half-baked presence and his (probly thought up in less then 5 minutes by the makers-ness) is awesome enough

25 hours of gameplay and I'm at
Zelda's Castle after having beaten Zant.
Unfortunately I was on a retreat and had to take a huge break in the game.

Right now I'm trying to learn if there's anything about Zelda herself we didn't know about in the previous games. Like one of my original theories about the LoZ games in general was that Zelda might be the grand manipulator behind everything. Meaning that Ganon and Zelda are merely opposing sides and nothing more. No right, no wrong, just opposing sides. And that she's just been manipulating Link in order to out balance Ganon's Triforce of Power by having two triforce pieces on her's. However my original hopes that we'd see all characters change form in the Twilight Realm didn't come to pass. (Ala LttP where-in you become what your soul reflects.) In this I was hoping to see Zelda appear as something more. Whether it be a Fouth Goddess (Goddess of Time which was alluded to in MM) or the Phoenix (which we see protecting the Triforce on the shield and otehr designs. (may also be hiding a fourth triforce piece as is shown on the OoT and MM shields.)) Sigh, looks like times running out and had it been that way odds are I would've accidentally seen it on the net by now.

I do have a couple questions for you all.

1) How many bottles have you all found thus far? (Don't want to know where you found them unless a warning is given, lol.)
2)Has anyone
caught the Hylian Loch? I mean has it been confirmed? (not talking about the small fries.)
3)How many
lures have you found. I've gotten the three basic, Frog and Sinker lures. I had my go at lure fishing just before "Castle in The Sky" but apart from that I've been too wrapped up in the main story.

my god, undr's alive.

neways I've gotten two bottles but i know where the third is(stupid friends and their gaping mouths).

As for your theory, how does that explain The Link's continuous reincarnations? There is a sequence to all the games, and I think 5 different Links and Zeldas? If Zelda is the goddess of time I can understand that, but then who is Link? If zelda, as a goddess, has only one piece of the triforce, wouldn't Link and ganon be Gods as well? That makes sense for Ganon, but what about Link? They just created this random human who can wield the master sword and has a piece of triforce? Is he somehow a God but doesn't know it? It doesn't add up.

I've gotten three bottles, and I'm trying to get the fourth.
You get one for delivering 20 Poe Souls to Jovani. You can get another one by fishing in the small pond next to the No Littering sign in the fishing hole.

With finals coming up, I'm going to have to limit my already slow progress through the game.

I've got four aswell.

And ChRed,
Ganon is a 'god' you can say. However Ganondorf is not. Every male born in the Gerudo tribe is named Ganondorf. This occurs once every 100 years. However, this only occurs if the last Ganondorf had died during this time. As we know Ganondorf was sealed in the Sacred Realm and thus his life was prolonged. As we now see in TP.

When his power was awakened through Zant, the Triforce on the backs of Link and Zelda's hands appeared. Now there wasn't any balance and to right this imperfection the Triforce awokened it's latest two hosts.

As with Zelda, it is said in "The Adventure of Link" that every first born female in royal family shall be named Zelda. Thus explains why there are so many Zeldas. However it is made known that this isn't the case with Link. Though they may be of the same bloodline (which is simply a guess) as far as we know the triforce chooses the one with the most accurate characteristics as it's host. Meaning Link values courage over power or wisdom.

Now Ganondorf on the other hand (haha pun) is abit different. Seeing as he's constantly possessed by Ganon, he always values power over courage and wisdom. But why does Zelda always receive the triforce of Wisdom?

Here would draw a symbolic reference. The phoenix as we all over Hyrule. It seems to be protecting the Triforce. Ok that's great and all, but again the Phoenix as many of us know is a mythological bird that can die, but never stays dead. As soon as it dies, it is reborn. This seems to be the case with Zelda. There is always a Zelda, reguardless if there's even a royal family. AoL seems to have covered-up what it needed to by simply stating that all females of the royal family shall be named Zelda. So there would always be a woman named Zelda either in power, or could take the seat at any point.

Going abit on a difference branch you should remember that Zelda was a sage twice. In LttP and OoT. Yet in OoT we are never told of what she was the sage of.

Another key focal point is the number four. Four Goddesses would mean, four pieces of "tetraforce", the four Great Faries, the four Spirits, the four swords, and maybe the most key point, the four oracles. Keep in mind that Zelda too was an oracle. And while the other three oracles were named after goddesses, then what was Zelda?

There's much more I could add to this, and as it is now I doubt it's gonna answer too many questions. I just don't know how to string it all together at this point. I could add in the idea behind Majora, the Sheika, the fourth tunic and ect. But again I'm not sure exactly how it would string along with the rest of this.

All it does is unlock the faries at the fountains for all I know.

WTF is up with that bird? I got annoyed at him pecking me, so I tried to put in money.

It was nearly impossible to do since I kept getting knocked away from the box. I finally put in the money and he stopped attacking me, and said just pay next time.

I save, turn off the game. Come back later, and low and behold, he tries to kill me again.

Stupid bird. Last time I pay him.

When the only thing stopping you from stealing is a deranged fro bird, and when that bird kills you even if you pay, stealing starts to look REAL nice.

you know what would be awesome?

Okay bear with me. YOu know how the cuccos no longer attack you if you hit them? What if when you tried to leave with out paying, the bird called cuccos who came and forced you to pay, and if you didn't have the money they killed you?

There's so many little funny things in this game,
like when you light a lantern in the bomb shop. I love that.

Aside from aiming ranged weapons, the controls fall flat for me. Shaking the Wiimote to do attacks? Give me a break.

Regardless, the core Zelda gameplay is still there, and although it's not perfect, I'm still a fan of it.

I used to be a bit skeptical of the swing controls, but the game is plenty easy enough to just enjoy swinging the sword in real life. :p

I seriously cannot WAIT for this game to come out! I'm gonna smash it to pieces, not literally, but you know what I mean.

Omigosh, when will I get the Wii and LoZ:TP?! Too much time waiting idly for it. Honestly!

I know it's not going to be a disappointment. I can't believe people think it is... ugh.

Well it's their opinion, I guess. I can't say I won't hate it, but I know I'm going to like it at first! =3

Link becoming a Wolf? Come on! Sweet. <333
