I'm going to Laser Tag of Baton Rouge tonight to play some Pump, so I'll ask them if they'd let us host tournaments there. They have multiple party rooms with TVs and probably would let us, as long as we give them some money, and there aren't parties pending in said rooms. I don't know how many people will be there on Monday, but it's an idea.
As far as my apartment goes, it's on Jefferson, right next to where Jefferson intersects with Drusilla. It's a short drive from the Mall of Louisiana, and right next to exits off both I-10 and I-12, if you can't place that area in your mind. Exact directions will be given to people via PM or phone, if you're coming to the tournament.
If everyone would like to bring, say, a 2-liter of drink and/or some chips or some real food, we could cook something, too, and not all be sititng in there hungry and thirsty. I think if we all pitch in we could make this a pretty fun event!
In other news, today at BRCC, we actually got KICKED OUT of the game room. Nicknyte and myself were playing chess, there was one girl playing In the Groove to our left and another guy watching NN and I playing chess. Two guys who were behind NN and I, playing pool, began arguing. I was concentrating on the game, and they were moving around and presumably throwing things, and then left in a huff. I payed no attention, until a pair of security guards showed up with the head of the club organizations, and asked us what happened, telling us we were left in charge of the game room. (I had no knowledge of this.)
When we couldn't identify the people in the scuffle, they told us that since we wouldn't divulge that information, the game room was going to be shut down until we did, or until the issue was resolved. I tried to explain that we didn't know them, nor could we be expected to identify them in detail as we weren't watching their activities, but we were rudely ejected anyway.
I don't think that I've been this irritated since the last time I was in Gameware. (^_^) I don't recall the last time I was responsible or could be held accountable for the actions of some ****ing teenagers that don't know how to control their own emotions or actions. I'd like to write to the president of the school, but what am I going to say? I'm not good at that sort of thing...
