Guys,can anyone explain why Lucas Vs Samus is considered even in the new MU chart?

I just can't believe that...

I honestly think Lucas has a advantage of +1

I thought 0 was reasonable cause I got camped really hard in on online match... but that's just me, I can't deal well with camping.

haven't played against a good shiek, wouldn't know

Just wondering, our boards said 40:60 and BBR says -3...pretty big diff.

A possible reason is that Shiek has Air release into DACUS on Lucas.
not sure how OP that is, or whether there are more gimmicks on Lucas, but I think it honestly sits at -2/-3 (with shieks awkward aerial launch angles, we'd be very susceptible to gimps, and ftilt hurts a lot)
maybe its -3 because shiek can ftilt -> grab -> dacus
some of the better lucas' here have said the MU is unwinnable against a good shiek, but I didn't ask why

They're both -3, and yes you can SDI the Usmash, but to do so you must SDI from above shiek into the ground, and then proceed to tech the ground, which is very hard.

if you look up Hyutter on youtube, he has some videos of himself doing it.
he's the only person i've seen do it though, and im not sure they are in tournament matches.
regardless the same thing can be done for Lucas' Usmash, but you never see people SDI lucas' usmash into the ground and then tech it to survive...
its just too hard

Actually it must be even on wi-fi,it makes the Samus MU a little harder.

ok i realized something, which changed my entire life ...
if you rearrange the letters of Lucas' twin Claus ..... you get Lucas O_O (and the other way arround obviously)
i bet everybody knows this already, but i just figured it out yesterday while trying to fall asleep
blowed my mind completely (and falling asleep was way harder after that)

New tech I think - If you press down at the same time as you hear your tether snap on to the ledge, Lucas will ledge snap from below and avoid looking over the ledge as he would normally do if you pulled in the tether.
The downside is that if you screw up the timing, you fastfall down :/

Interesting... Does it have to be as soon as you snap onto it or can it be while you're hanging onto the ledge? And do you have to press it lightly or normal pressure?

Press it as hard as you want, its just as soon as you hear the snap noise from the snake. try it, it's really easy (there's a big window).
