you have to record it with a cpature card or video camera and put it on the computer to upload to youtube

ok sorry guys there's going to be a very short video of me playing .com in a crew battle and taking off his last stock (losing one of mine...) relearning olimar and all that, and then immediately after playing vex and taking off all 5 of his stocks with my 3 (I only lost one though) but yeah it wasn't his main and I was still relearning olimar then so they aren't actually good, and then the only other replay I saved was playing some guy that doesn't want it put up which I think is gay as hell but whatever, and that was the only one I got after I started playing olimar like I knew what I was doing

they're not bad but I didn't really have any real confidence so I never did anything advanced at all, absolutely none of my normal fun grab tricks, it's nothing you guys haven't seen, so I might as well not even have them uploaded

On topic: I guess the last match of Grand Finals isn't too bad either; a shame my ******** hat covers MK's damage percentage. Also on topic, if MK d-smashes can Olimar shieldgrab him before he can d-smash again?

If MK down smashes you... it is possible to shield grab, but you have to time it perfectly. A better option is to spot dodge dsmash.

I disagree entirely. It's really easy to shielgrab his dsmash. You only need basic reaction timing and enough exerience for you to know what the dsmash looks like in the split second you have to react to it.

^^ depends on how it's spaced and which side he hits you with, I've played people that have hit me with the back of the dsmash and then done a quick turn and hit me with an ftilt or something when I tried to shield grab, I'm not sure that it's possible to grab that

The front portion of MK's dsmash has a shield advantage of -25 and the back is -20. So if you shield the back portion, you've got a good 9 frame window to shieldgrab (the 20 frame disadvantage- Oli's 11 frame grab= 9). And I highly doubt that good spacing can make up for those 9 frames, though I can't be certain.

Also, because you can actually see the front portion of the dsmash miss before the back portion will hit you, this lets you time a shieldgrab moreso than depending on reflexes or prediction.
His dtilt on the other hand... >_<

And the picture... too good.

it is not difficult at all to do the best possible shieldgrab on reaction to mk's dsmash, and some people will get hit with it

but the best guys will just ftilt you when you are grabbing them. there is no way there is nearly a sixth of a second to punish the back of a dsmash with a grab <_<
