Just FYI, this might not turn out as well as you hope it does.

When you save a replay of frame by frame action, I heard that when you're pressing Z, in the replay (after the match) and you go to watch it, it'll be something ENTIRELY different, mostly your characters grabbing/air dodging depending on where you are on screen.

Not 100% positive on this but, just an FYI.
that's only the case for when the codes actually alter the physics of the game, which this code should not.

Press Start again to unfreeze the game.

and the infinite record hacks to play frame by frame perfect victory brawls with every character in the game in order to create a monsterously difficult cpu

they will be unstoppable... perfect shielding every hit spikeing or gimping every recovery, breaking every grab before it can begin, landing every combo you'd wish you had dreamed of, every character will play at a step above even melee's best metagame, and wen pit against each other the battles will last for DAYS. low tier and high tier they will be indistinguishable from each other players will cry as cpu's perform forbidden tech's and DI out of even the hardest falcon punches, MKs will be knocked out of their tornadoes, CGing will become unbreakable, and a battle in the sky is defeat everytime.....

....pros will weep in fear of their godliness and they will cry, "please... make it stop" and i will look down upon them from my diamond tower and say, "NO"

In your homez, playing your Wiiz.
How I never considered that!

Is it even possible to make your CPUs smarter by getting other people's replays of being very good?!?!?
If so, I gotta go and talk to people. *runs off*

I play ZSS I rarely Fsmash. I almost never Fsmash out of Dsmash. Moreover, I never roll back and forth around my opponent like an idiot when they are stunned.

Computer ZSSes do this ALL THE TIME. They still do it on my Wii to this day.

Computers don't learn.

I'm guessing they still have to have some preset "knowledge" of their own.
They may use your strategies sometimes, but they still use there's mostly (no matter how ignorant they maybe =/)

Whoa. Someone please post videos of this. XP Watching computers perfect shield and dodge/grab more than they already do has got to be entertaining.

it's not possible, unless you make the vids like people made AR vids back for melee.

this consists of:
recording everything
extracting one of each frame
putting the frames in one video running at 60fps so it looks normal

which isn't exactly an easy process.

Gangstakirby just said it doesn't work. the CPUs do whatever they want in replays. i've tried it with some hacks.

I was thinking that the ability to stop it to 1 frame, take a screenshot, and upload it in amazing quality without the need to capture any video, or re-encode any video in true 60fps just to get the frame data.

This is heavenly.

...Can you do it on replays too?

no, it messes up replays.

it seems that whatever records button inputs during gameplay and reinputs them during the replays still runs at normal speed even when you freeze the game, so freezing during a replay will make it look like a dsynched wifi match, with everyone swinging at air and jumping off the edge and stuff.

there needs to be a fix for this... im sure theres a way.....even a play at 1 frame per second hack would work for me i dont think that would mess it up... i am going to figure a way to do this it might take a while but i want godly cpus

I was about to ask if it could do that.

EPIC.

This thread should be renamed "Perfect Frame Data Collection Code" and stickied.
also a good idea i found that you can tech "forbidden" I.E. foxes shine or drill kick but u have a 1 frame window its not impossible just really hard and its on frame 21 after the hitlag so u can see its very difficult

ive also used it to do a CF version of ganons super jump which turns out to not go much higher than his regular jump among other things but all this was before i recorded the matches and found that they fail wen u play them at live speed

this could help find they key frames to certain attacks or find the frames to make undiscovered AT's

idk how to ask a mod to do that tho can some one do it for me?

You can change the title of the thread yourself by editing the first post. I do not think this really deserves a sticky, though it is still very good.

Falcon's version of the Fight of Ganon is known.

Is there a PAL version of this code? If there is, Ganondorf can finally get accurate frame data.

I'll port this code tomorrow.
(****, am I really the only PAL brawl hacker out there?)
