Boss's Mario is the best Mario but I'm not sure which one of his vids would be the best to put up.

Ok, Sethlon is probably the best Falco in the US, but Nyosuke(http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HEm-rQHRtvQ) and Bombsoldier (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=26l244eEzEY) are both better.

Btw, Nyosuke has like the best everybody in the world (and Zentore probably has the best Fox and Peach):
Marth (Plus Zentore's Peach): http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=FdYTtZ8_z9o&feature=related
Pit: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yrtBDRgx9OQ&feature=related
Zentore's Mario: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=T8WZySNYqS4&feature=related
For the love of male genitalia, absolutely no nominations of Zentore or Nyosuke! They play fast and flashy... but if you actually watch the matches, you'll notice they leave big gaping holes everywhere and are pretty bad at punishing the other when the other leaves such a hole.

I saw a match where they played Fox vs. Falco where one of them (let's call him P1) shielded a Bair. P2 landed behind P1 in Bairing. So what does P1 do? Shieldhop a Bair (going behind P2)... which is... of course... shielded. Or what does P2 do to punish this? Another Bair (which is, of course, surprise, surprise, shielded). Biggest BS I've ever seen.

Let's not even talk about that one match where one of them played Peach and barely floated except for recovery (he literally floated twice or so in the entire match outside of recovery).

At best, they're glorified mediocre players. At worst (like the Bair-fest), they suck.

If anyone else nominates either, I will hunt you down and do... something.

I really like this thread :D

I'm gonna go ahead and find 1 video for every character. The best videos that I've watched to learn from. I've seen many of every character and I think I have an idea on which ones they would be. Maining Random kind of gives me the need to see a little of everything and this thread is gonna help in the long run I think ;]

Skill in a Wifi match is entirely different from skill in live play. Reaction is completely impossible on Wifi, leaving everything to prediction and which player is better at adjusting his timing forward by half a second. It's also for this reason that precision-based characters like Marth perform worse online while characters with a wide area of range and devastating effect on hit like Ike can randomly land those fsmashes that should NEVER hit anyone in live play.

I see your point. I thought about non-laggy matches.

By the way, this Captain Falcon surely doesn't believe in tiers. He is good.

WiFi matches are not really that bad unless they are really laggy, if there are 2 great connections then there really is not much of a difference.

There is a HUGE difference between no delay and 0.25 seconds of delay. You don't know what you're talking about.

We had to play on LCD tv's at my last tourney. It had about 3-5 frames of lag. I couldn't perfect shield or spotdodge reliably. Everyone else suffered as well though, so I didn't place any worse than I would have without the lag.

I would prefer matches that were not on Wifi but I will accept any footage of a character as long as it's good gameplay. I would also prefer that the character wins the match, however i have made exceptions.

We still needs some vids of G&W, Lucas and PT(one that isn't a combo video). I know theres good G&W footage out there and some good Lucas vids shouldn't be that hard to find.

Unfortunately, the JPN Pits are far behind the American Pits due to lack of AT's. I have seen his and other JPN Pits and all they do is jump around too much and spam arrows constantly. They are not very fluent or agile. I am not the only one to think so so dont shoot the messenger!!
