someone should go through the genesis grandfinals set adn nominate some ally vids for snake. i especially like the last vid of the second set lol

also, if there are any vids from genesis of fow beating mks they should be here too

Kadaj I can nominate those but I don't think they should go up there on the list. I'd much rather see vids of your Marth playing against other people's mains, not Bowser vs Candy's Wario or G&W lol (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm trying to illustrate that you're likely to get a better match when both people are using their mains.)

No I saw them, I had left/was about to leave for Genesis though.

I'll look back over them. I remember most of the matches, but not what order they were in haha.

Gonna mention it again. That Sagemoon video in the Pit section really shouldn't be there. He made a lot of mistakes, got predicted by Mike numerous times, in the end of it lost and all around it just seemed like an very average match that was actually more interesting to watch from Marth's point of view. There's no reason for it to be in here.

as far as yoshi tech skill goes, that yoshi was sick rediculous.

But as far as being a good brawl player, he was kinda subpar, getting beat by below average tactics.

What tech skill? All the guy was doing was canceling out his double jump with Netural B. All of Yoshi's B-moves can work as double-jump cancels. And ditto for the actual playing skill. That Diddy Kong could have been a lot better.

Ok guys sorry for the slight slowdown on my part, but I've now nominated most of the videos you guys have posted. If I didn't nominate a video, it was either because there were multiple videos posted for one person, in which case I tried to pick the one I thought was better. Or if you posted a video that I felt REALLY wasn't a very good representation, then I chose not to nominate it. Feel free to ask me to explain my decisions at anytime, I don't mind explaining why I chose one vid over another or why I didn't put a particular vid up.

DMG, I'm wondering what your reasoning for AZ's video vs. Panda over the D1 video is? Personally, I think AZ played great in both matches, but Panda seemed to play inconsistently during most of that vid. Plus, the fact that the matchup against Falco is worse than that against Snake (which is arguably even). Maybe we could get another Diddy players perspective on this, but I felt like I could learn more about how to play against a Falco as Diddy by watching the D1 vid than I could about how to play a Snake in the Panda vid.

I mean the video looks PRETTY, but actual gameplay I'm kinda doubting it. If someone else seriously wants me to nominate it, I'll put it up.

No, but I think it's enough of a reason. Like I said I didn't want to come off as mean, just leaving my input. I bet you have better videos recorded, and I wouldn't mind seeing more :D

See, that reason would make more sense if the G&W was nominating himself instead of the Bowser, lol. I don't know that G&W's Dthrow doesn't work like Snake's and get punished for it and I win, hence I'm not a good enough Bowser?

Please at least come up with something like how we both made a mistake recovering, or how I turned around accidentally multiple times, something that says our skill isn't high enopugh rather than me not knowing something about a matchup I almost never play.

edit: You can see more of my videos in my channel but I doubt any of them are better than that one.

waiting for the vid to dl, I love boozer vids. However, if the 'best of' vid is supposed to represent the current metagame, I imagine not teching the dthrow is fairly detrimental to your chances.

That wasn't really a serious nomination. I just put it up there so more people could realize just how sexy Captain Falcon is. Rebaz is way too good in this game.

NEW is put on videos that I just added, regardless of date. RECENT is applied to videos that have been up 2-4 weeks, regardless of date. After that, I take all tags off of them until I take them down.

But yes I will update them.

There were a lot of other things you could have used/done better such as use some grab release stuff, claw hopping, better use of fire (or less, really), and just doing some of the regular stuff better. These videos are supposed to be REALLY good and usually try to represent near top level play.

I dunno about this one. The Snake did a LOT of dumb things and clearly new pretty much nothing about the matchup. There's a lot of better Snake players out there that fight even better Olimar players fairly often. I'd wait until one of them records some matches.

There's that and the fact that the Olimar player unnecessarily racked more damage on the snake than he had to. Every time that first stock when he upaired or upb past about 110-120%, he could have just baited an airdodge, fast falled to the ground, and dsmashed/upsmashed. I was crying on the inside.
