the key is that most opponents dont know that the last or second hit can make them fall like that and u gotta know where they will land and get to that spot and jab fast.. anyways watch the ending

It's unreliable at higher levels. If someone sees a lack of teching, I guarantee the Sonic will land the jab lock.
However, that doesn't happen too often. People DI the dsmash up.

In other words, this isn't a setup of any kind, in the sense that it's reliable.
What I saw was a simple punish for a lack of teching. This can happen on many occasions.

Still, it was pretty cool.

yeah i think tipper dtilt at around 90 is the best setup we have for this type of jab lock. at the very least u get a tech chase

sigh step ur game up play boys lol. Kinzer, i have a vid on ur channel doing that very thing. mid 80's is the best for light characters.

actually i just check the video and i did it with the full jab combo, which works as well, however tipper dtilt gives less time to tech like falco's ftilt jab lock. its works. if they tech its a simple tech chase because u should be right next to them by then.
