Not many yet, but expect to have some soon. BTW, Flamestar666, I was wondering if you could help with this. Since I want my links to last forever, but my internet connection's too slow, I was wondering: Could you put some of my videos on google for me? Obvoisly you would get a lot of credit in the guide.

You could just use FileFront... or maybe host them on DC++, then I could upload them for you. I have active mode. Or Putfile, since that's pretty easy; you said they would be under 8MB, right?

Well, here's some scores to get them all above 1000 feet:

Ness:
1: GtBDttB(grab the bat, dash to the bag)
2: Jump above the bag and use a PK fire(forward+B) when you are close to the ground.
3: Throw the bat up. The flames from the PK fire should keep it from flying off the stage.
4: Jump above the bag, and use a down air. Then jump up and use another down air so it hits after the snadbag lands.
5: It should have popped up in the air. Jump up again and spike it.
6: Jump up and use a down air(it should be on the ground by now) on the sandbag.
7: Okay, get ready for it to come down, and smash right+A. If the bat was at more than 80%, you did it correctly, and the sandbag will soar to 1000 feet. If the bat was at less than 80% when you swung, go back and make sure you didn't skip any steps.

Kirby:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Use a forward tilt( with the bat).
3: Run to the bag, jump, and use a down air. It should do around 15-16% damage. IMPORTANT: make sure you hold left on the control stick after useing the dair, or the sandbag will fly off the platform.
4: Repeat 4 times.
5: Swing!

Samus:
1: GtBDttB.
2: use a neutral+A with the bat.
3: Use an up tilt. If should pop up into the air a bit.
4: Wait until the sandbag lands, and use another up tilt.
5: Repeat 5 times.
6: Swing!

Zelda:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Use an upsmash.
3: Jump, throw the bat up, and when you land, use an upsmash so the bat hits during the (multiple) hits.
4: Pick up the bag, and repeat.
5: When the bag lands, pick up the bat.(If the bat disappeared, do the strat again until it doesn't). Smash.
Link:
1: Grab the bat.
2: Smash throw a boomerang to the sandbag. It should deal 16%.
3: Run to the bag, and halfway through, jump. Now smash throw a boomerang to the bag so he throws the boomerang right when he lands.
4: Repeat twice.
5: Do it again, but instead of waiting until you almost reach the ground, use the boomerang halfway through the jump. It should not hit the hit the bag, and fly to the right.
6: When the boomerang returns, throw the bat at the bag so the returning boomerang hits right after the bat, cancelling out the momentum. Now, pick up the bat, and smash.

Young link:
The same as the link strat, but you have to get closer to the bag to make his boomerang to deal 19%(!!!) damage.

Pichu:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Use an upsmash.
3: Turn around(it should have gone behind you), and use another one when it lands.
4: Repeat.
5: When it lands, go to the left side of the bag. Now get as close to the bag as you can. In fact, nudge it to the right a bit to make SURE you are the closest you can be. Now smash to the LEFT. Yes, Pichu will swing AWAY from the bag, but you should hear a "smack" sound instead of the regular "PIIIIIIIIING!!!" sound, the bag will take 8% damage, and it should soar to 1000 feet.

Pikachu:
1: Grab the bat. Go right next to the bag, and face to the left.
2: Use an upsmash. It should deal 13% and pop the bag in the air a bit.
3: Wait for it to land, and repeat.
4: Repeat 2 times.
5: See step 5 of the Pichu strategy.

Mewtwo:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Upsmash.
3: Throw the bat up. Mewtwo can throw the bat up without having to jump up.
4: Use an upsmash so the bat hits in the(multiple) hits of the upsmash/
5: Repeat.
6: When it lands, smash the bat.

Game&watch:
1: GtBDttB.
2: Upsmash.
3: Roll to the other side of the bat, and use another upsmash.
4: repeat.
5: The sandbag should be on its side.
6: Walk up to it, face left, so only G&W's arm(that's not holding the bat) is covered by the sandbag. Smash left+A. It should again make that "smack".

Marth: (this is pretty tough)
1: GtBDttB.
2: Jump backwards, and use a down air.
3: Jump, and use another down air.
4: repeat.
5: Jump, and when you are almost to the ground, use an up air. It should make a slashing sound and it should pop up into the air.
6: Repeat.
7: When the bag lands, throw the bat at the sandbag. It should bounce off the back wall towards you. Smash the bat as it comes to you.

Okay, I hope that helped you! ^_^

Kool. Oh, try this super-simple Ganondorf 1700 strat:

1: GtBDttB.
2: Upsmash.
3: Wait for it to come down, jump and spike it down.
4: Upsmash. Wait 2-3 seconds, then double jump up and spike it down.
5: Double jump over the bag, throw the bat up, and immediately use a warlock punch. It should hit right after the bat hits.

Huzzah! Some new improvements today. I couldn't get the strats you posted to work. With Link/Y.Link I could only get around 920ish feet, so I just did Utilts/Usmashes and did the "thwack" hit. With Ness I did lots of DJC Usmashes, and with Marth I did grab+Uthrow+Usmash x 3, "thwack" hit. All of the improvements below were done with a "thwack" hit except for DK, C.Falcon and Ganondorf <-- Thanks a lot for those Ganondorf and C.Falcon strats, they were so simple and got me a lot more distance. :)

Here are my improvements along with the noob strats I used. ('cept Ganon's and Falcon's - thanks Tipo. :chuckle:)

All distances in feet
Peach - 1042.0 1268.0 - spam Usmashes, "thwack" hit
Donkey Kong - 1051.5 1216.5 - Usmash x 3, Dair+Lcancel, Usmash, Dair+Lcancel, smash
Captain Falcon - 1172.2 1462.9 - used Tipo's strat - thanks :) Usmash x 2, Dair, bat smash x 3, aerial Falcon Punch
Ganondorf - 1291.0 1768.7
Ness - 904.8 1220.8
Ice Climbers - 1333.0 1446.5 - Usmash, Utilt as many times as I could, "thwack" hit (while facing left)
Link - 842.5 1169.3
Young Link - 809.4 1165.7
Mewtwo - 1167.3 1228.3 - Usmash x 2, Uair, Usmash x 3, "thwack" hit
Marth - 877.9 1124.7
Roy - 1069.2 1168.0 Usmash as many times as I could, "thwack" hit

Total - 31500.2 31904.4

* Oh, and holy crap, download TAKAhrcYOUNGLINK.wmv from the hub. It's crazy!

^ not true. *gasp* >_> I'm sorry, I don't like telling people they weren't right most times. :urg: Anyway, here's my updated HRC list. Note: I didn't use bat drop combos with Link/Y.Link/Marth. In fact, I only did bat drop combos with Yoshi and Ganondorf.

ScaryMunky: Don't bother using bat drops for Yoshi; you can get around 3000 using only short hop down-airs if you get in enough hits. Granted it'll take some practice to get the bag over 190% as I think you have to l-cancel at least the last one and go really quickly without fastfalling. The less you wait, the more times you can use the move before time runs out.

Also, anyone can get 2000 feet for Peach with the phantom strat and a little practice and speed; it's mostly down-smashes. The same goes for Luigi and his 2000 strat, though that one has bat drop down-airs in it (but they're really easy once you get the timing). Have Tipo tell you about those strats, assuming he remembers them o.o;

3000?? Wow, gonna have to try that. I only got 1400ish using constant Dairs a long time ago.. do you have to fast fall all of them?

Also, I can't get that one Ganondorf strat you posted Tipo.. it goes: GtBDttB, Up Smash, Dair, 3 bat drop combos, double jump+throw bat up, WP. I always run out of time when I try to jump up to throw the bat. :( Do you have to double jump when you do the bat drop combos? The way I do it, is GtBDttB, Up Smash, Dair, turn around (so i'm facing left), then I double jump, but they're not full jumps.. can't really explain it. Can the bat drop combos be done by only jumping once?

You don't fastfall adas with Yoshi to get 3k; just l-cancel and do them immediately after the other, and hit a tipper. (You need 6 to get 3k/around 3k)

Here's an easy Samus strat that can get 1.7-1.8k, depending on how much dmg you do with each bd:

1. grab the bat, double jump backwards, bat drop ADA with fastfall
2. 3 more double jump bat drop ADAs with fastfall
3. Quickly turn around, jump, AFA with fastfall, grab the bat, and hit an aerial tipper.

Well, I don't want to get high scores using a glitch, and also, the IC glitch wouldn't get me "uber scores" with anyone but the ICs.

Oh, and Tipo, when you do the bat drop combos with Ganondorf, which side do you stand on and which way do you face? So far only facing left on the left side of the bag has worked for me, and I have yet to try single jumping the bd combos.

Uhhh... yeah. I used the IC freeze glitch and got a new record! uhh... 2300 feet. Yeah. Quaz, how do you throw the bat at the bag without Nana grabbed it? Oh and BTW, do you have AIM? Because that's a better enviroment than these boards to talk about HRC. My SN's madmailler.

heh, if you wanna IM me, my AIM is the quazy 2000

as for the IC glitc... a lot of people have used it (except for PALs of course... since the glitch isn't in the game) but if you dont wanna use the IC glitch... then don't use it, just don't use it as an excuse to consider yourself as a better player than others.

From Climbing Their Way to the Top in the Ice Climbers forum, slightly edited to improve readability:
(IC glitch freeze)-Within grabbing range, turn and grab at the same time and Nana will grab the opponent. When she swings the hammer to throw them, have Popo do a hammer squall. This will freeze the character and they cannot be moved except by a throw.
I've never been able to pull it off; note that hammer squall is Fwd-B.

As for Ganondorf, I find his doubles easier (but of course, they're slower). I do full jumps and have more than enough time for up-smash, 4 bd ADAs and RWP; then again I've gotten used to l-cancelling his d-airs. Even with l-cancels you should have enough time, though. You are mid-air catching, right? I tend to just assume that. For my strat I turn around after the up-smash, and I land on the right side after the first bat drop. If you do them on the left you can nudge the bag closer to the edge, but then the RWP is harder to do. At that percentage, make sure you aren't full jumping both times; a little less than one and a half jumps' height should do the trick.

It took me a while to get used to the freeze glitch, but after a while, I finally got my decent score. Here's how I did it:

1. roll right, hold Z while rolling
2. forward B just before Nana throws the bag; Note: if Nana does an up throw, restart. You can't finish the strat if it's in the air =P
3. the bag should be frozen now. grab the bat, roll right, and immediatly start doing bat throw ups (facing left); If you did it right/fast enough, Nana shouldn't screw up your bat throws.
4. Keep doing bat throw ups until time runs low
5. turn around, throw the bat up, recatch it immediatly, and swing immediatly. If Nana chose to co-operate, the she should've done a throw, cauing it to unglitch, free for a swing.

My score was a close hit at 240 or something.

I got some new, minor scores:

2180.2 Kirby
3335.7 Samus
2559.4 Zelda

85,056.1
