I've been commentating for 5 years now (for the SEA region under contract for League of Legends) and I've recently taken charge of the regional Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Community. We've been trying to raise new commentators to take on bigger roles for future events, but they still need a fair amount of work.
Since I technically come from a MOBA background, I've just been wanting some second opinions. Any tips on doing commentary for Smash Bros that I can use to help my protege's grow?
For me I find that for fighting games you can either be more relaxed in your casting style like D1 and Keitaro or you can get super technical which I'm not really good at.
