Top 10 characters/mains

This list looks like the characters just are put in a random direction. It's completely wrong compared to the reality...

Why do I need to have played the game to know which characters I'm most interested in trying out? Probably 90% of the people in this thread haven't played the game, THAT'S THE POINT! Just list who you want to play, not who you think will be the best. So sorry to offend you by putting Fox, Marth, and Falco near the bottom, but they don't appeal to me and never will.

This will be my probable list:

Main:

1. Captain Falcon (For the old school pwn, been using him since 64. FALCON PUNCH!!)

Possible others: (Order will most likely change)

2. Ganondorf (I'm liking his new look and moves so far, he looks to play even MORE differently than the Captain this time around. GANONCIDE. =D)
3. Lucario (Was a Mewtwo man in melee, this guy looks fairly interesting)
4. Wolf (Cause he's a badass. May not be my type tho, we'll see)
5. Zelda (I always kind of liked her in melee, but never got good with her. Now that she's better I think I may use her. Light Arrow looks pimp too. =D)
6. Ike (He's an effin' beast, but he's gonna be overplayed most likely. We'll see.)
7. Wario (For the lulz)
8. Snake (Cause he's completely new, and watching Psychomidget playing him is hilarious, explosive galore!)
9. Link (I mained him a short time in melee, he's faster now, seems fun)
10. R.O.B. (See Wario.)

Eh, why not. These are who I think I will play the most.

(1.) Marth
- He was my very first main and he remains one of my most played characters in Melee. From what I've seen, he hasn't been nerfed but changed up so he functions the same just in a different way (b-side doesn't give horizontal distance, shield breaker does, etc etc.) He's just fun to play so he'll probably be my most played character. And that video with Metaknight and Marth? Swordplay or GTFO.
(2.) Sonic
- Two and three were close for me, but Sonic just seems like so much fun to play. That crazy speed will be difficult to master but I can't wait to try him out. Maybe this is redemption because I tried to get skilled with Captain Falcon and could never handle the speed that he travels at. Hopefully I can pull it off with Sonic.
(3.) Ike
- Like I said, tough call between the two. Ike seems so beastly, especially since they've shown him at E4All. He's much better now and not incredibly sluggish. I enjoyed Radiant Dawn so I want to try him out. Grand Aether just looks so flashy. Plus, his taunts are very bad-*** in an anti-hero way.
(4.) Falco/Wolf
- Falco is my main right now, but he might be too different for my tastes. Both characters play in different styles and I can't comment much until I have my hands on both of them for a test drive. But one of them will be in this spot.
(5.) Lucario
- They took the good things from Mewtwo, improved upon them, and gave the moves to the coolest pokemon of the fourth generation? Why wouldn't I want to play as him? From videos I've seen, he looks quite flashy. Plus, I spent along time raising my Lucario on Pearl and he turned out to be a beast.
(6.) Pit/Meta Knight
- Both look fun. I will put Pit in this spot ONLY if they keep the japanese voice over for his B-side. "Nahnahnahnah!" If not, Meta Knight will go here.
(7.) Pit/Meta Knight
- Use the reasoning above.

1. Pit- Quite a recovery and fighting style.
2. Marth- I'm glad to hear he's pretty close to his Melee self.
3. Jigglypuff- Still aiming to main her even though she's a bit weaker this time around.
4. Zero Suit Samus- Girl looks to be rather speedy and vicious with that whip. I'll give her a shot.
5. Wolf- I'm used to playing as fast and air-oriented characters, so his feral style is quite a change for me.
6. Metaknight- Guy's got some pretty fast strikes and a good recovery, but a bit lacking in KO moves.
7. Donkey Kong- The ape looks pretty powerful this time around.
8. Mario- Eh, no reason.
9. R.O.B.- Not a character I wanted, but the guy surprised me with his style.
10. Falco- Kind of wanted him gone, but eh. He's somewhat more differentiated from Fox, so I may consider him again.
