Intro
I know and can perform all of these glitches please take my word and the pictures and videos as proof.
I do not have any reason to lie about any of these tricks.
All these glitches can be reproduced and are not AR'ed.
(Please do not send any AR (Action Replay) glitches)

I went through the ENTIRE "Official Glitch topic" (all 33 Pages) and pulled out all the glitches that I found to be reoccurring and added them into this post (the rest of the information was spam and non reoccurring animation bugs)
Sofakingsheik and I spent a lot of time learning how to perform most of these glitches and I would like to thank anyone that helped or clarified any of them.
Please do not use this without my knowledge and consent.
G-Glitch- Definite flaw in the game play, graphics, or annimation sequences ultimately disrupting gameplay physics
T-Trick- Error in the games processing, causing abnormal or altered gameplay, usually a combination or techniques

Glitch_____0. Play as Master Hand -- you can control master hand and use all of his moves.
This glitch comes from bypassing the character select screen without choosing a character. There are two ways to do it. First. The easy way, this requires two controllers. Master Hand can only be selected from the 3rd controller port. Plug one controller into Slot 3 and the other into any other slot (recommend 4) have player 4 select any character then highlight the word "back", next use controller 3 and go to name entry, place the cursor over "new entry" then press A on both controllers at the same time. you should skip directly to the stage select screen.
Second. and much harder, only requires one controller, and you can do it in more applications. place your controller in slot 3 delete all the names in your name entry except one (this makes it easier). hover over "name entry" tap A and B together. hold B, release A the cursor should now be over "new entry" Tap A again, the object is to tap A as soon as the screen wants to move back a menu. *(the videos make this easier to understand)* from the stage select screen just pick a level.
This works because you are bypassing the character select, and since Master Hand is default 0 it automatically selects him. impress your friends.

Glitch_____1. Links Grounded -- cannot jump (shows the animation but does not leave the ground) you can also run and throw items through the stage.
Links and young Links Grounded-- go to venom and go the lower wings throw your boomerang away from the ship at a high angle. Turn around and Short hop backwards, and hook shot onto the lower wing (your hook shot should stick into the lower wing), hang, then let the boomerang hit you (like the high jump trick) you should begin to roll up the bottom of the wing and fly through the level. From there you cannot jump or get knocked down even by a smash at 999 (to end the glitch get thrown or walk off the wing)
While in no jump mode you can walk through the great fox, throw bombs through it throw boomerangs through it and also characters down through it (Link death throw) if you do the beginning with young link and press up b as you catch the boomerang and you should do an up b while continuing to hold the edge. (Double edge guard)(Can be done with two Y. links at the same time

Glitch_____2. Sheik super Sex kick recovery/ also known as Cape teleportation -- (sheik recovers and attacks everyone across the entire level instantaneously (most levels)
Sheik Super Recovery-- this can be done on almost all stages but only from certain sides. On FD have sheik hang on the left side and place Mario in front of her. Place the other characters throughout the stage. Have Sheik rise up from the ledge (her laying down kick edge recovery) have Mario cape her she will teleport to the other side, and it will hit everyone on the stage.
Yoshi’s story and Mushroom kingdom one and 2 have instant death edges.

Glitch_____3. One Pixel Characters --your character shrinks to the size of one pixel with no restrictions on attacks or maneuvers and can't get hit by most attacks
'The 1 pixel glitch involves Kirby’s neutral-b move with the Yoshi hat. The egg, when it pops out, starts out very small and quickly increases to the appropriate size for the character. If you break out of the egg super fast (easiest to do on slow melee or at 1/4 speed) it interrupts the resize portion of the animation and the character is shrunk because of it. In addition, if you have Yoshi in training mode make sure you continue to heal so you break out faster. On the other hand, if in slow melee add food or tomatoes to cure (it takes longer but if you have Yoshi, Kirby, and any other character you can do it.)
Once Yoshi gets small, you need to get as close as possible to Kirby and jump so the Yoshi hat Kirby can reach you. Then move the stick fast to break out fast. If you mess up you grow back to full size, also if you die or make Kirby loose the hat you will be unable to continue shrinking.

Glitch/ BANNED_____4. Ice Climbers freeze glitch -- freeze a character and cannot be moved (renders player useless) (except for a punching bag) Can also turn characters into eggs and stars.
Select Ice Climbers and any other character then get within grabbing range. turn and grab at the same time and nana will grab the opponent when she swings the hammer to throw them have Popo do a hammer squall towards the opponent and then hold away. This should freeze the character and cannot be moved except by DI or a throw.
Note: you can freeze a Nana with the Fireflower glitch. You can suck them up with Kirby, spit them out and turn them into stars. Swallow them with Yoshi. DI away from enemies. In addition, can only be unfrozen by a throw or Kirby swallow (and someone hitting Kirby) to spit them out. Can also be used with the Nana Fireflower glitch to create a flaming star or egg
you can freeze the frozen character with any ice attack and unfreeze them with a screw attack.
also you can kill that person by having the level take them away. and they will never die.

Glitch_____5. Link/Y. Link Super Jump -- Link Jumps above the stage and has an 8 to 10 second Freefall
Go to the edge of most stages (Final Destination) and face the center then throw your boomerang at a high far angle, quickly short hop backwards and grapple onto the side of the stage. Once there, hang. When you catch the boomerang while hanging, you will be launched above the screen and have a freefall where you can drop quite a few bombs. (This is also the starter for link grounded double edge guard, and other link Hookshot tricks.)
Note: This can also be performed with Super Mushrooms. Just have two large characters hookshot on to the same edge, and the trick should work the same way.

Glitch_____6. Nana flamethrower -- Nana has an infinite (non-attacking) flame coming out of her
Nana Flame thrower -- pick IC and grab a Fire flower jump and press Z (this transfers the item to the next IC) hold a until Nana begins using the Fire flower then press Down B. and Nana should continue to use the fire flower. However you move.

Glitch_____7. Infinite Superscope -- unlimited Superscope ammo
Grab a super scope and fire five short bursts and two fully charged bursts then begin charging again, have some one lightly attack you and you should then have infinite Superscope ammo.

Glitch_____8. Hammer taunts-- any move any taunt any stage the hammer taunts (my specialty)
Place hammers on, and select young link. Also, select anyone and have someone hold a hammer. Press down then have young link attack with a boomerang. The person should be holding the hammer and crouching at the same time then you can tilt into any move as long as you hold down after it you should keep the hammer also if you pause the game switch to holding up and B then un-pause the game you can do all the up b with any character

Glitch_____9. Real radish Glitch/ Black Hole Glitch -- (one of the coolest glitches by far) Set up a Black Hole of Radishes that instantly cause 999% damage
1. Select your characters. Fox and any other character (Ness in this example) on the red team (team attack off), Falco on the blue team, and Peach on the green team
2. Select items on very low. Superscope only (you can experiment with others later) sock to at least 10 (just for fun)
3. Go to Hyrule temple, Battlefield, Kirby 64, Yoshis Island. (A level with two platforms that are on the same level with space under for a character to jump) (In this example, Hyrule.)
4. Have the optional character find a Superscope and do the infinite combo (2 full blasts and 5 short blasts of three then be hit as you are charging again)
5. Place Fox on the left part of the gap, Ness behind him, Falco on the opposite ledge, and Peach underneath the two.
6. Have both Fox and Falco hold their reflectors.
7. Have Ness begin to fire the Superscope (you should see one green ball form near Falco.
8. Have Peach jump into this ball. (Ness should keep firing) and three green balls should form. Keep jumping into the balls, more should form until you have a steady bar of green balls that look like they are not moving. (If the reflectors break, vary the distance between Fox and Falco until they maintain their reflectors)
9. Stop firing the Superscope and stand there. (Fox and Falco should be stuck in their shines.)
10. Have Peach begin to throw radishes into the green bar. (Most should be stuck, some fly through (like ditto, the super radish (Col. Mustard) and Mr. Saturn) do not count them.
11. You should throw 15 radishes into the same general area of the beam on number 15 have the extra character (Ness) roll into the beam to destroy it. It should hit Ness for about 70% damage and the radishes should stay hovering in the same spot.
12. To destroy the black hole or free any frozen characters simply walk close to the black hole and slowly pull radishes from it. After about two or three pulls the black hole should fly away.
(My method that sometimes speeds the game up)
By doing this you can do the glitch by yourself with no help, but you need at least three controllers to make it happen. By the way, I tried throwing 14 vegetables and they did not stay stuck together. They kept rising up and up and then disappeared. You should throw about 15 or 16 in there before destroying the beam. Peach will not be affected by the vegetables at all, but if you get Falco (or Fox) stuck in there with a shine, then he will be able to reflect the damage of the vegetables on anyone. So yeah, those with at least three controllers can do it by themselves if they have no help. In addition, in order to escape the horror you need to DI out of it.
Edit: Here is an image of me doing the glitch with no help.
I froze Fox and Falco in there so Peach could get hurt. Fox and Falco take no damage. The hits from Falco’s reflector seem to hurt more than Fox’s and kill easily, whereas the hits from Fox aren’t as powerful and they don’t seem to be capable of killing Peach. I also threw a couple of super scopes in there for kicks, but they disappeared.

Note: When doing this you can have, anyone for a fourth characters some side glitches are as follows. To disable the black hole have the peach that threw the radishes into the mix carefully start to remove them then the black hole should fly off screen
1. Perform the IC Freeze Glitch and DI a character into the Black Hole then DI out and they will continue to be frozen. (Just don’t throw or turn them into an ice block unless you have Screw Attacks turned on or they will be stuck in the ice block)
2. Yoshi can swallow a character and push the egg into the Black Hole this is another freeze. He can also freeze himself if you try to eat a character from the black hole (doesn't work for Kirby although some of his throws can trap both characters)
3. Ness can use his up B to fly past the hole.
4. If Fox or Falco fall into the hole while holding their Reflector (shine) they will be frozen and do additional damage to another player. If it is Foxes reflector frozen giving the damage the character will never fly off screen they will simply fall as though they were just shined.
5. If the timing is correct, the game will actually speed up and not be lagging. It will be as if you are playing Lightning Melee.
6. Ness can use his Forward B and trap PK fires into the black hole that never disappear.
7. Sheiks needles will always freeze the game. (From what we've tried)
8. Most characters sex kicks or back kicks can freeze them in the black hole

Trick/ Easter Egg_____10. Extended Grapple beam-- grapple beam becomes twice a long and can home-in on characters
There are many ways to do it but the easiest is rapidly tap Z and press up, down, up, down on the control pad (under the stick) this should elongate the beam then you can home in by holding the L button and pressing A then press A again to grab.

On Battlefield have Mewtwo reflect a red shell 5 times and on the sixth time have Bowser fall through the stage and get hit by the 6th forward B he should be stuck to Mewtwo’s body
after you connect bowser to Mewtwo you can do a lot of different techniques, first if you do the "reflect" move mewtwo will freeze bowser on the screen, similar to the IC freeze glitch, with this you can get a 32,625 combo on training mode. (with the bowser correctly positioned on one of the platforms you can use the shadow ball to create an infinite combo.)
also you can freeze multiple enemies. just grab and throw someone after you have an enemy attached to you.
Glitch_____14. Peach Frozen radish-- **one method is explained in #9** (please inform.) a radish is frozen in the stage can be grabbed and re-thrown but stays in mid air
Not sure but I think you have Marth catch a radish and tip peach at the same time (haven’t done it but have seen it done)
One final note for the frozen radish glitch: it's not specific to radish, nor is it specific to Peach. I've seen videos where it's happened to ray guns, and have personally seen an occurrence with a beam sword.

Note: this can be done on Termina Bay on Tingle or on Infinite Glacier on the Large Ice Blocks. In addition, if you change the size of your character their item will also change in proportion

(This is the way I did it could be done many ways)
Go to Fourside with Mario and Zelda, stand on the far right edge of the widest building, (about where the helicopter takes off and lands in the background). Have Zelda stand on the far right building, Have Mario throw a fireball and have Zelda reflect it (B) then return cape it. Continue until the reflector blows up and Zelda flies off screen. The key is to keep the fireball in the air the whole time and have as little space between you as possible.

Go to Kirby’s level with the falling blocks in training mode then build the blocks around you so you are trapped in then item select all red shells and attack them the game should freeze
Glitch/ Trick_____29. Double and Triple identical colors-- two or three of the same character with the same color (not team battle) fighting against each other with no distinction between each other. Tip: if you want them to act at simultaneously pause the game and hold the attack on each controller then un-pause.
(Very hard for three but same procedure)
Have one character select a character and color. Have second player put the cursor over the same character and one less color. This means have it on the first color under the desired character then on the first controller deselect the character. (Keep the hand icon inside the character picture) On the second controller change color up one. These need to be done at the exact same time to work. This can also be done with three or four characters as long as all the hand icons are inside the same picture.

Trick_____38. Sheik’s Needle Claws – Keep sheiks needles in her hand AND visible even when you are not charging them
As Sheik jump and begin charging your needles, before you land L-cancel and stop charging. If you do it correct sheik will be standing upright, and her needles will be sticking out of her hands (like Wolverine from X-Man). You can walk around with them visible. They can also be thrown, also if you transform into Zelda the needles will be frozen into the air where you transformed. When you transform back the needles will appear in Sheiks hands again. Note: if you die as Zelda and there are needles frozen in the air she will come back, be able to transform and have fully charged needles.
Jump with sheik and begin charging them then L-cancel the landing if it is done correctly the needles will remain in her hand the rest of the fight ( If you turn into Zelda… the needles will stay floating in the air whenever you turn back the needles will reappear in your hand)

Glitch/ Trick_____39. Samus super-jump/grapple on nothing-- Samus grapples nothing
It's simple. Just grapple to the side of the stage as Samus and have Mario or Doc go down and cape her. If you cape her while she's still falling from the initial grapple, she'll likely shoot up into the air similar to the Link Super Jump. However, if you cape her while she's hanging, she (as well as the point that she grappled) will move down slightly and reverse direction. It can be done repeatedly in one set, but time is limited.

Glitch_____40. Yo-yo glitch – Ness places an invisible “trap box” on the ground and can attack a character that touches it.
The glitch occurs when you hit with a CHARGED Up Smash (no C-Stick) but only hit your opponent once
Start charging an Up Smash underneath a high percent DK (about 150%) and he will fly up into the air. Releasing the yo-yo simultaneously is not crucial. If DK flies up and doesn’t hit the second hit box...and it was indeed a correctly charged Up Smash...Ness will drop his second hit box onto the ground. This invisible yo-yo hit boxes act as booby traps and last seemingly until touched by an opponent. When an enemy hits your Trap-Box you can do any attack (except for PK moves...May differ by version) and this attack with translate to your Trap-Box.

Glitch_____41. The End of Home Run Contest -- Homerun contests limits
To do this glitch just hit the sandbag (in home run contest) 4600 something ft if you have version 1.0. If you have version 1.1 and higher then you have to hit it 12000 something ft. If you correctly do this glitch then the camera will stop and the sandbag will fall and add ft/m. If you let this happen long enough then the game will eventually freeze.
The HRC glitch does not need AR but it is very hard. There are a few FAQ’s on GameFAQ’s about how to hit the sandbag very far. An easy way to make this glitch occur is to be Ganon (in home run) grab the bat first, do one Up smash on sandbag , then jump and D air and land on the opposite side you started (facing the sandbag). The next part is hard but this is what to do jump, drop bat, and D air. Repeat the last step three times and then double jump, throw the bat up, and press B (moving a bit to the start and facing away from sandbag). If you do this correct then the sandbag should have 220-222% and will send the sandbag 4500-4700 ft. This requires no l-cancels and version 1.0 because version 1.1 and higher has a much larger amount of ft/m.

Trick_____42. Maximum Points -- Max points in Classic/Adventure/or All-Star
If you keep shield breaking in classic/adventure/all-star then your score will keep rising until it goes to the maximum number of points you had. This will however keep going until the max but if you press A or START then it should either stop or reach the max instantly (I forgot which ones did which). This only works on 1.0.

Glitch/ Trick_____43. Frying Pan Kirby -- Kirby holds on to a frying pan throughout the entire battle.
Go to mushroom kingdom, select GW and Kirby (and any other two you like). Have Kirby suck up GW’s power and go to the top layer of bricks back roll until you are on the very edge of the top row facing the middle, use the b attack and hold it down you should hear a weird chime, then use b again and it should turn the frying pan gray. At this point, taunt and you will be holding on to the pan still then you can use any attack or suck up another power and retain control of the pan.
Note: this can also be done on Termina Bay on Tingle or on Infinite Glacier on the Large Ice Blocks. In addition, if you change the size of your character their item will also change in proportion

Go to the far left platform and triple jump (aim for second or third spike (the small one) in the horizontal roof) land on a moving platform and tech-roll right. This should put you outside his BTT stage. You can continue to jump on the platforms or jump back into the stage.

Go to Yoshi's island (the one with the pipes). Position yourself on slanted pipe (about where the opening is). Launch a fireball, it should travel down the pipe and bounce off the top left corner of the first yellow block (in the middle of the stage) into bottom right corner of the other set of blocks (far right set) bounce again then hit the ground and bounce for a third time up the slanted mountain. If it doesn't work, slowly take half a step forward and try again.

When missile canceled properly, Samus will shoot an invisible missile that will attack anyone in its trajectory. It can also be reflected.

Pull a bomb then short hop back and press Z this should "lightly" put the bomb on the ground, and not cause it to explode, and then you back up an us down tilt. This should cause the bomb to slide across the level.

Glitch_____55. Peach Saturn Return --Once peach pulls a Saturn, she can pull the Saturn every time after that
Have peach pulls out a Saturn, get close to another opponent, and throws Saturn at the opponent. Re-catch it about 5 times in a row then backs up and throw and press A. Saturn is in her hand again and you can back up the entire level (temple) throw it and press A after a certain time and she will re-grab it.
Glitch/Trick_____56. Blinking Game and Watch -- GW is frozen and blinks
Use Soul Stunner on 2 GW's, and then use Confusion to place them on the exact same spot. They will now blink.

Go to Hyrule in training mode, set Mewtwo as the opponent, in "Stand" mode. Set him to 999%, and then put him right where he spawns (should be a bit left of the pillar). Now hit him with C. Falcon's up tilt. He will bounce on the pillar, fly back and double jump through the stage. Other attacks that work are Knee, Marth's Shield breaker, Roy's flare blade, Falcon's up air, Ganon's up air.

Put any stage with a solid ground, then have Ness PK Comet in a 180 degree angle onto the stage just above the ledge, and have a Dr. Mario cape him (Haven't tried with Mario). He will go through the stage and end up hanging on the other ledge.

Trick_____60. Negative Gravity -- Have any character attack while stuck to the ceiling
Use Peach and someone else in training on any level with a solid ceiling, most likely Temple or Great Bay. Set the other player(s) to 999 damage and do Peach's down tilt on them repeatedly below the ceiling, without getting up. On the eighth down tilt, the character will seem to stick to the ceiling instead of bouncing back down.

Trick_____61. Negative Gravity Arrow -- Arrows are released far beyond the characters head
Do the Negative Gravity on Link or Young Link and fire an arrow. The momentum they have is translated to the arrow, and it comes out above their head (most noticeable on Great Bay). Give the character a tiny mushroom before doing Negative Gravity, for even longer duration, and higher arrows.

Smash forward then go back to neutral and smash forward again. This should cause fox to repeat his initial dash animation (which is faster then his normal run) causing him to run faster then normal. Continue across the entire level
Trick_____63. Item Bouncing-- Peach throws a radish (yes, it is a Japanese radish) then it bounces off the ground then goes through the stage.
Choose Peach and stand under the awning near the center near the stairs and throw a radish towards the left, it should bounce right before the ledge (where you can fall through to the bottom part of the level) and bounce threw the level and appear to the right of the gazebo then disappear.

Glitch/ Trick_____65. Random Faces -- Characters pictures do not match the characters
Go to Tournament mode, select loser out and whatever you want for the other options. Choose Ditto as at least one of your characters (when you are selecting the character hold L and R) and choose any other people to fill in the brackets. Play a few matches, and the faces don't match the pictures. (I found this works once or twice per tournament and it mostly happened with Pichus character and yellow Roy’s picture above the percent.) Not easily reproducible but can be done. (The picture shows Pichu winning, first player is a Roy picture, and Second Player is a Fox... that is the best picture I could take.)

Go to either Infinite Glacier or Rainbow Cruise and perform an up throw Kirby should bounce off one of the above platforms and commit a suicide throw.
Glitch/ Trick_____67. No Hit Percent -- Your character does not have a percent when you are fighting.
Go to training mode and select any character on any stage then pause and put the cursor over reset. Have your character jump off the edge and when the damage bounces away and you see the fall explosion press start A and when you land on the stage again you will not have a percent. NOTE: you still take damage and it resets when you die.

For Dr. Mario, run the edge of a stage and taunt the slide and the balance on the edge animation should cancel the taunt
Young link- throws the boomerang down at an angle
Link-same thing or throw the boomerang out or hold on to a bomb
Samus-Down B then taunt
Pikas and Yoshi hold Block and you should stop your taunt before it is through
Trick_____69. Infinite Reflector -- cause a green bar of Infinite energy to trap Fox or Falcos shine or have fox hold someone in a shine.
Use the Infinite super scope to trap energy between two reflector and set up the Black hole glitch to achieve the infinite green bar.
On the other hand, just have fox shoot his blaster at anyone holding their reflector. If you shoot fast enough the other player cannot escape. (If playing on a team with Mario or Doc. They can cape the trapped reflector and rack up on the damage as long as Fox continues to shoot the blaster.

Trick/ Easter Egg_____70. Dumb characters. -- Computer AI leads certain characters into acquired situations.
Fox glitch - go to temple and lead an AI fox to the lowest point then leave him there and he will be stuck in an endless jump cycle
Peach glitch - select fox against a level 9 peach go to venom, lure peach to the lower left wing then quickly go to the other low wing, and peach should stand facing the center.
Against most AI - 1. Go to Yoshi 64 and jump from the far right cloud to the other right cloud (most AI can't follow) two. also go to Fourside and walk from the left edge of the center building (little edge about the size of one character) and wait for the AI to go above you then walk left and grab the edge of the left building (most AI will try to D-air you and fall to their doom) 3. Also works on the two new DK levels (far left to center) or (main stage to rock) four. Poke Floats lure the AI to Squirtels left hand (left part of the stage) and jump to his head the AI will stand there until he disappears. 5. (More as I think of them)

Go to the Daisy trophy and rotate under her (as if you are trying to look up her dress) then use the D-pad to zoom in and rotate so you can get under her hair. It takes a little time but once you can "see" through her hair a blue eyeball is placed on the back of her head.

While traveling on the Great Fox (shortly after the cave) look for blobs of red glowing lava on the ground if you are ever spiked into one of them you will fly back up and off the top of the level (just like you can be reflected while you are inside the cave)

As the Ice Climbers on Big Blue, use the freeze glitch on one of the other characters while on a racecar. When the machine leaves the screen and opponent gets KO'ed they never re-spawn no matter what! Even works in training mode! Also works on rainbow cruise and infinite glacier.
Note: if you freeze the opponents on infinite glacier while it is moving upward and it kills them when the stage moves the other way you will see them but not be able to make any contact with them.

On training mode, pick Pichu and anyone for dummy on any level. Now make a Bob-omb and use Pichu's down smash. The Bomb explodes but Pichu takes no damage. Works with 4-5 bombs

On training mode, pick Mewtwo and Bowser as the dummy. Do the Soul Breaker Glitch. Now set CPU to two and grab the unstuck Bowser. Zap the grabbed one once and up throw to freeze him (like the Soul Stunner #57), then do it again (on a third Bowser) NOTE: keep the Bowser's placed very close to each other!
Now throw Pokeballs up at the Bowser's until Charizard appears. When he appears quickly use Mewtwo's up tilt as fast as possible. If done right Charizard should freeze in place

Trick_____82. Infinite Holds -- Hold someone and bring their damage up very high.
Have one person Hold an opponent and have someone else begin hitting them with a rapid fire A move (Fox/Falco kick, Kirby punch, Link/ Y. Links Sword or Foxes blaster, or infinite Superscope) this should keep the held person inside the grab until their damage reaches about 300% this can be held longer to annoy your opponent. Also works well with team attack off.
Trick/ BANNED_____83. Jiggs rising and falling pound -- Jiggs can travel any amount of horizontal distance without losing altitude.
To have Jiggs perform a rising pound press forward B to do a pound then immediately tap up (or down to fall). This will cause her to float and hover upwards (or downwards) slightly, then press Forward B again and you should rise again. This technique is banned in official tournament play because it is considered a stall tactic (much like Peaches Wallbomber.) you can use it to recover but you cannot use it to hover at the top of the stage until time runs out.
Trick_____84. Bob-omb Rain -- You will play a sudden death match with any number of stock, have Bob-ombs rain down on you, and not register any of the kills.
All you have to do is stand there after about 30 seconds. Bombs will fall from the sky automatically. (If you play a timed match (one minute) and 99, stock and do not attack anyone, when the one minute is up you will play a 99 stock sudden death match with raining bombs. If you do the IC freeze Glitch then you can make a target above you that protects you from any of the falling bombs (if you are FD). In addition, if you are fast enough you can jump up and grab one of the exploding bombs (and throw it) before they blow up. In addition, after 99 stocks are up no one will be registered for any of the kills.
Glitch/ Trick_____85. Star Characters -- Turn any character into a star
Do number 33. Kirby Super Suck and DI the opposite character low enough for Kirby to swallow them then spit them out anywhere. (Can also be done with Nana Fireflower)
Glitch_____86. Ness teleport -- Ness flies under the level and grabs onto the opposite ledge
Go to Final Destination and select Ness and Mario. Have Ness stand on the ground and use PK thunder directly into himself so that he travels straight ahead towards Mario. Have Mario stand just at the end of Nesses range and cape him as he is traveling. He should flip around twice and appear under the level, travel to the farthest ledge, bounce off it and grab the ledge.
Glitch_____87. Permanent Illusion -- A copy of fox or Falco's Illusion is permanently branded into the level.
Perform the fox or Falco illusion directly into the black hole glitch, if you become trapped in it while the illusion copies are behind you they will stay there frozen in the level. It is very hard to determine the spacing and timing for this one.

Mario should cape her while she is in the fall animation. (Not the hanging animation)
Samus should roll up the wing of the Great Fox, and fall through it

I am not sure what I did, my friend who had never played before, began pressing buttons on top of big blue. Then big blue began to tilt up and she fell through on to the cars on the bottom of the level. i am going to continue trying different combinations and if i can not get this glitch to reoccur. I will remove it.
Easter Egg_____95. Smash two sign -- You can see a sign that says SMASH 2

Go to any of the following levels that have movable platforms:
____Pokemon Stadium (left and right platforms when the level changes)
____Kirby Fountain of Dreams (Platforms moved by the water spouts)
____Rainbow Cruiser (Magic Carpets and falling doughnuts)
Grab a character at the edge of any one of these platforms
and grab them (works best if other character is at a high percentage)
Once the platforms begin to move apart one character will seperate and the other character will be stuck on the ground.

Glitch______106. Unusual Item Carries -- Game and Watch can carry and throw unusual and large items like normal.
The first glitch basically makes G&W hold onto an item that he wouldn't normally be able to hold onto, like a metal box, or a warp star. It seems to occur when G&W is hit during a certain frame of animation of him picking up the item, where he is holding the item, but has not yet used it. After he's holding the item, you can throw it like you would any other item, although it won't cause any damage. You can also do the glitch with carriers, like barrels and party balls, to make G&W hold the carrier like a small item. He'll be able to jump and run around unhindered, as he would with a small item. You can also throw the carrier like a small item, and it'll do it's normal damage.

Glitch______107. Unusual Item Freezing -- Freeze items in the air.
The second glitch causes an item to float in place without moving after being thrown, but still cause damage if touched. It seems to occur if G&W gets hit in a certain frame of his item throwing animation (I reasoned that, since the glitch occurred mainly when I was attempting to throw an item, but being hit with weak attacks repeatedly). If the glitch works, G&W's throw will be interrupted, and the next time you throw the item, it'll float in place. You can grab the floating item as you would a normal item, although I'm unsure what happens if a player other then the G&W who bugged the item grabs it. Also, grabbing the item after you throw it won't fix it, as it'll still float in place when you throw it again. It seemed to occur with items that can be used multiple times (Like fire flowers, ray guns, and home run bats).

Glitch______108. Bowser inerita cancel -- Bowser returns to his starting postion once hit
1.Go to training mode.
2.Pick Peach as you, and bowser as opponent.
3.Press start and change settings so bowser has %999 and is human.
4. Now make bowser and peach face each other
5.Make Bowser f-smash, and have peach use toad to reflect
Now bowser will fly up, then mysteriously come back down at his NORMAL speed!

Trick_____109. No Register Super Scope
Choose IC for player one and anybody else for the partner in training mode. Spawn 2 super scopes and recreate the Infinite Ammo glitch for both IC. Now proceed to shoot, and look at the "Damage" Box. If done right, it shouldn't register any of the shots as hits.

Glitch___110. Bomb Glitch through Corneria
fall through corneria.
have samus lay a bomb anywhere on corneria (best near the back thruster and near the cockpit) , and have another person to a very weak attack to it, (jab or down tilt) and the person who attacked willl fall through the level. (similar to a spike)

- if you do it over the lower level (laser cannon part of stage), theyll fall onto the lower level.
-not fully sure, but i think you have to hit it when it hits the ground, or after it bounces.
- it involves a gap in the stage design. the fact that the entire stage moves around you and that is where the pixels meet in the level the stage moves up through the character while being smashed down in the animation and the character falls through the level.
Glitch___111. Luigi Grounded
Not to sure how this happened but ice climbers vs luigi on DK Jungle Japes and i tecked up through the stage and was unable to jump and be smashed much like grounded link i was still able to be thrown away

Trick___113. Discontinued animation
stop a character animation or action
do any special arial atttack then L cancel properly before you hit the ground. the arial attack should continue and so will the sound effect but your character will remain motionless. this is standard for most long special attacks that you are trying to L cancel, you will hear the sound effect but not get the attack animation.

Glitch_____0. Play as Master Hand -- you can control master hand and use all of his moves.
This glitch comes from bypassing the character select screen without choosing a character. There are two ways to do it. First. The easy way, this requires two controllers. Master Hand can only be selected from the 3rd controller port. Plug one controller into Slot 3 and the other into any other slot (recommend 4) have player 4 select any character then highlight the word "back", next use controller 3 and go to name entry, place the cursor over "new entry" then press A on both controllers at the same time. you should skip directly to the stage select screen.
Second. and much harder, only requires one controller, and you can do it in more applications. place your controller in slot 3 delete all the names in your name entry except one (this makes it easier). hover over "name entry" tap A and B together. hold B, release A the cursor should now be over "new entry" Tap A again, the object is to tap A as soon as the screen wants to move back a menu. *(the videos make this easier to understand)* from the stage select screen just pick a level.
This works because you are bypassing the character select, and since Master Hand is default 0 it automatically selects him. impress your friends.

Glitch_____1. Links Grounded -- cannot jump (shows the animation but does not leave the ground) you can also run and throw items through the stage.
Links and young Links Grounded-- go to venom and go the lower wings throw your boomerang away from the ship at a high angle. Turn around and Short hop backwards, and hook shot onto the lower wing (your hook shot should stick into the lower wing), hang, then let the boomerang hit you (like the high jump trick) you should begin to roll up the bottom of the wing and fly through the level. From there you cannot jump or get knocked down even by a smash at 999 (to end the glitch get thrown or walk off the wing)
While in no jump mode you can walk through the great fox, throw bombs through it throw boomerangs through it and also characters down through it (Link death throw) if you do the beginning with young link and press up b as you catch the boomerang and you should do an up b while continuing to hold the edge. (Double edge guard)(Can be done with two Y. links at the same time

Glitch_____2. Sheik super Sex kick recovery/ also known as Cape teleportation -- (sheik recovers and attacks everyone across the entire level instantaneously (most levels)
Sheik Super Recovery-- this can be done on almost all stages but only from certain sides. On FD have sheik hang on the left side and place Mario in front of her. Place the other characters throughout the stage. Have Sheik rise up from the ledge (her laying down kick edge recovery) have Mario cape her she will teleport to the other side, and it will hit everyone on the stage.
Yoshi’s story and Mushroom kingdom one and 2 have instant death edges.

Glitch_____3. One Pixel Characters --your character shrinks to the size of one pixel with no restrictions on attacks or maneuvers and can't get hit by most attacks
'The 1 pixel glitch involves Kirby’s neutral-b move with the Yoshi hat. The egg, when it pops out, starts out very small and quickly increases to the appropriate size for the character. If you break out of the egg super fast (easiest to do on slow melee or at 1/4 speed) it interrupts the resize portion of the animation and the character is shrunk because of it. In addition, if you have Yoshi in training mode make sure you continue to heal so you break out faster. On the other hand, if in slow melee add food or tomatoes to cure (it takes longer but if you have Yoshi, Kirby, and any other character you can do it.)
Once Yoshi gets small, you need to get as close as possible to Kirby and jump so the Yoshi hat Kirby can reach you. Then move the stick fast to break out fast. If you mess up you grow back to full size, also if you die or make Kirby loose the hat you will be unable to continue shrinking.

Glitch/ BANNED_____4. Ice Climbers freeze glitch -- freeze a character and cannot be moved (renders player useless) (except for a punching bag) Can also turn characters into eggs and stars.
Select Ice Climbers and any other character then get within grabbing range. turn and grab at the same time and nana will grab the opponent when she swings the hammer to throw them have Popo do a hammer squall towards the opponent and then hold away. This should freeze the character and cannot be moved except by DI or a throw.
Note: you can freeze a Nana with the Fireflower glitch. You can suck them up with Kirby, spit them out and turn them into stars. Swallow them with Yoshi. DI away from enemies. In addition, can only be unfrozen by a throw or Kirby swallow (and someone hitting Kirby) to spit them out. Can also be used with the Nana Fireflower glitch to create a flaming star or egg
you can freeze the frozen character with any ice attack and unfreeze them with a screw attack.
also you can kill that person by having the level take them away. and they will never die.

Glitch_____5. Link/Y. Link Super Jump -- Link Jumps above the stage and has an 8 to 10 second Freefall
Go to the edge of most stages (Final Destination) and face the center then throw your boomerang at a high far angle, quickly short hop backwards and grapple onto the side of the stage. Once there, hang. When you catch the boomerang while hanging, you will be launched above the screen and have a freefall where you can drop quite a few bombs. (This is also the starter for link grounded double edge guard, and other link Hookshot tricks.)
Note: This can also be performed with Super Mushrooms. Just have two large characters hookshot on to the same edge, and the trick should work the same way.

Nana Flame thrower -- pick IC and grab a Fire flower jump and press Z (this transfers the item to the next IC) hold a until Nana begins using the Fire flower then press Down B. and Nana should continue to use the fire flower. However you move.

Grab a super scope and fire five short bursts and two fully charged bursts then begin charging again, have some one lightly attack you and you should then have infinite Superscope ammo.

Glitch_____8. Hammer taunts-- any move any taunt any stage the hammer taunts (my specialty)
Place hammers on, and select young link. Also, select anyone and have someone hold a hammer. Press down then have young link attack with a boomerang. The person should be holding the hammer and crouching at the same time then you can tilt into any move as long as you hold down after it you should keep the hammer also if you pause the game switch to holding up and B then un-pause the game you can do all the up b with any character

Glitch_____9. Real radish Glitch/ Black Hole Glitch -- (one of the coolest glitches by far) Set up a Black Hole of Radishes that instantly cause 999% damage
1. Select your characters. Fox and any other character (Ness in this example) on the red team (team attack off), Falco on the blue team, and Peach on the green team
2. Select items on very low. Superscope only (you can experiment with others later) sock to at least 10 (just for fun)
3. Go to Hyrule temple, Battlefield, Kirby 64, Yoshis Island. (A level with two platforms that are on the same level with space under for a character to jump) (In this example, Hyrule.)
4. Have the optional character find a Superscope and do the infinite combo (2 full blasts and 5 short blasts of three then be hit as you are charging again)
5. Place Fox on the left part of the gap, Ness behind him, Falco on the opposite ledge, and Peach underneath the two.
6. Have both Fox and Falco hold their reflectors.
7. Have Ness begin to fire the Superscope (you should see one green ball form near Falco.
8. Have Peach jump into this ball. (Ness should keep firing) and three green balls should form. Keep jumping into the balls, more should form until you have a steady bar of green balls that look like they are not moving. (If the reflectors break, vary the distance between Fox and Falco until they maintain their reflectors)
9. Stop firing the Superscope and stand there. (Fox and Falco should be stuck in their shines.)
10. Have Peach begin to throw radishes into the green bar. (Most should be stuck, some fly through (like ditto, the super radish (Col. Mustard) and Mr. Saturn) do not count them.
11. You should throw 15 radishes into the same general area of the beam on number 15 have the extra character (Ness) roll into the beam to destroy it. It should hit Ness for about 70% damage and the radishes should stay hovering in the same spot.
12. To destroy the black hole or free any frozen characters simply walk close to the black hole and slowly pull radishes from it. After about two or three pulls the black hole should fly away.
(My method that sometimes speeds the game up)
By doing this you can do the glitch by yourself with no help, but you need at least three controllers to make it happen. By the way, I tried throwing 14 vegetables and they did not stay stuck together. They kept rising up and up and then disappeared. You should throw about 15 or 16 in there before destroying the beam. Peach will not be affected by the vegetables at all, but if you get Falco (or Fox) stuck in there with a shine, then he will be able to reflect the damage of the vegetables on anyone. So yeah, those with at least three controllers can do it by themselves if they have no help. In addition, in order to escape the horror you need to DI out of it.
Edit: Here is an image of me doing the glitch with no help.
I froze Fox and Falco in there so Peach could get hurt. Fox and Falco take no damage. The hits from Falco’s reflector seem to hurt more than Fox’s and kill easily, whereas the hits from Fox aren’t as powerful and they don’t seem to be capable of killing Peach. I also threw a couple of super scopes in there for kicks, but they disappeared.

Note: When doing this you can have, anyone for a fourth characters some side glitches are as follows. To disable the black hole have the peach that threw the radishes into the mix carefully start to remove them then the black hole should fly off screen
1. Perform the IC Freeze Glitch and DI a character into the Black Hole then DI out and they will continue to be frozen. (Just don’t throw or turn them into an ice block unless you have Screw Attacks turned on or they will be stuck in the ice block)
2. Yoshi can swallow a character and push the egg into the Black Hole this is another freeze. He can also freeze himself if you try to eat a character from the black hole (doesn't work for Kirby although some of his throws can trap both characters)
3. Ness can use his up B to fly past the hole.
4. If Fox or Falco fall into the hole while holding their Reflector (shine) they will be frozen and do additional damage to another player. If it is Foxes reflector frozen giving the damage the character will never fly off screen they will simply fall as though they were just shined.
5. If the timing is correct, the game will actually speed up and not be lagging. It will be as if you are playing Lightning Melee.
6. Ness can use his Forward B and trap PK fires into the black hole that never disappear.
7. Sheiks needles will always freeze the game. (From what we've tried)
8. Most characters sex kicks or back kicks can freeze them in the black hole

On Battlefield have Mewtwo reflect a red shell 5 times and on the sixth time have Bowser fall through the stage and get hit by the 6th forward B he should be stuck to Mewtwo’s body
after you connect bowser to Mewtwo you can do a lot of different techniques, first if you do the "reflect" move mewtwo will freeze bowser on the screen, similar to the IC freeze glitch, with this you can get a 32,625 combo on training mode. (with the bowser correctly positioned on one of the platforms you can use the shadow ball to create an infinite combo.)
also you can freeze multiple enemies. just grab and throw someone after you have an enemy attached to you.
Glitch_____14. Peach Frozen radish-- **one method is explained in #9** (please inform.) a radish is frozen in the stage can be grabbed and re-thrown but stays in mid air
Not sure but I think you have Marth catch a radish and tip peach at the same time (haven’t done it but have seen it done)
One final note for the frozen radish glitch: it's not specific to radish, nor is it specific to Peach. I've seen videos where it's happened to ray guns, and have personally seen an occurrence with a beam sword.

Go to Fourside with Mario and Zelda, stand on the far right edge of the widest building, (about where the helicopter takes off and lands in the background). Have Zelda stand on the far right building, Have Mario throw a fireball and have Zelda reflect it (B) then return cape it. Continue until the reflector blows up and Zelda flies off screen. The key is to keep the fireball in the air the whole time and have as little space between you as possible.

Tip: if you want them to act at simultaneously pause the game and hold the attack on each controller then un-pause.
(Very hard for three but same procedure)
Have one character select a character and color. Have second player put the cursor over the same character and one less color. This means have it on the first color under the desired character then on the first controller deselect the character. (Keep the hand icon inside the character picture) On the second controller change color up one. These need to be done at the exact same time to work. This can also be done with three or four characters as long as all the hand icons are inside the same picture.

Trick_____38. Sheik’s Needle Claws – Keep sheiks needles in her hand AND visible even when you are not charging them
As Sheik jump and begin charging your needles, before you land L-cancel and stop charging. If you do it correct sheik will be standing upright, and her needles will be sticking out of her hands (like Wolverine from X-Man). You can walk around with them visible. They can also be thrown, also if you transform into Zelda the needles will be frozen into the air where you transformed. When you transform back the needles will appear in Sheiks hands again. Note: if you die as Zelda and there are needles frozen in the air she will come back, be able to transform and have fully charged needles.
Jump with sheik and begin charging them then L-cancel the landing if it is done correctly the needles will remain in her hand the rest of the fight ( If you turn into Zelda… the needles will stay floating in the air whenever you turn back the needles will reappear in your hand)

Glitch/ Trick_____39. Samus super-jump/grapple on nothing-- Samus grapples nothing
It's simple. Just grapple to the side of the stage as Samus and have Mario or Doc go down and cape her. If you cape her while she's still falling from the initial grapple, she'll likely shoot up into the air similar to the Link Super Jump. However, if you cape her while she's hanging, she (as well as the point that she grappled) will move down slightly and reverse direction. It can be done repeatedly in one set, but time is limited.

Glitch_____40. Yo-yo glitch – Ness places an invisible “trap box” on the ground and can attack a character that touches it.
The glitch occurs when you hit with a CHARGED Up Smash (no C-Stick) but only hit your opponent once
Start charging an Up Smash underneath a high percent DK (about 150%) and he will fly up into the air. Releasing the yo-yo simultaneously is not crucial. If DK flies up and doesn’t hit the second hit box...and it was indeed a correctly charged Up Smash...Ness will drop his second hit box onto the ground. This invisible yo-yo hit boxes act as booby traps and last seemingly until touched by an opponent. When an enemy hits your Trap-Box you can do any attack (except for PK moves...May differ by version) and this attack with translate to your Trap-Box.

Glitch_____41. The End of Home Run Contest -- Homerun contests limits
To do this glitch just hit the sandbag (in home run contest) 4600 something ft if you have version 1.0. If you have version 1.1 and higher then you have to hit it 12000 something ft. If you correctly do this glitch then the camera will stop and the sandbag will fall and add ft/m. If you let this happen long enough then the game will eventually freeze.
The HRC glitch does not need AR but it is very hard. There are a few FAQ’s on GameFAQ’s about how to hit the sandbag very far. An easy way to make this glitch occur is to be Ganon (in home run) grab the bat first, do one Up smash on sandbag , then jump and D air and land on the opposite side you started (facing the sandbag). The next part is hard but this is what to do jump, drop bat, and D air. Repeat the last step three times and then double jump, throw the bat up, and press B (moving a bit to the start and facing away from sandbag). If you do this correct then the sandbag should have 220-222% and will send the sandbag 4500-4700 ft. This requires no l-cancels and version 1.0 because version 1.1 and higher has a much larger amount of ft/m.

Trick_____42. Maximum Points -- Max points in Classic/Adventure/or All-Star
If you keep shield breaking in classic/adventure/all-star then your score will keep rising until it goes to the maximum number of points you had. This will however keep going until the max but if you press A or START then it should either stop or reach the max instantly (I forgot which ones did which). This only works on 1.0.

Have Kirby suck up GW’s power and go to the top layer of bricks back roll until you are on the very edge of the top row facing the middle, use the b attack and hold it down you should hear a weird chime, then use b again and it should turn the frying pan gray. At this point, taunt and you will be holding on to the pan still then you can use any attack or suck up another power and retain control of the pan.
Note: this can also be done on Termina Bay on Tingle or on Infinite Glacier on the Large Ice Blocks. In addition, if you change the size of your character their item will also change in proportion

Select Zelda as you select the stage hold a (to instantly transform into sheik) then transform back into Zelda and win the battle. The announcer should say sheik but show Zelda.
Glitch_____47. Free Ganon -- Ganon can go outside his BTT stage
Go to the far left platform and triple jump (aim for second or third spike (the small one) in the horizontal roof) land on a moving platform and tech-roll right. This should put you outside his BTT stage. You can continue to jump on the platforms or jump back into the stage.

Trick_____50. Mario's Hyper Fireball -- Mario fires a fireball that goes 3 times as fast and long.
Go to Yoshi's island (the one with the pipes). Position yourself on slanted pipe (about where the opening is). Launch a fireball, it should travel down the pipe and bounce off the top left corner of the first yellow block (in the middle of the stage) into bottom right corner of the other set of blocks (far right set) bounce again then hit the ground and bounce for a third time up the slanted mountain. If it doesn't work, slowly take half a step forward and try again.

Pull a bomb then short hop back and press Z this should "lightly" put the bomb on the ground, and not cause it to explode, and then you back up an us down tilt. This should cause the bomb to slide across the level.

Have peach pulls out a Saturn, get close to another opponent, and throws Saturn at the opponent. Re-catch it about 5 times in a row then backs up and throw and press A. Saturn is in her hand again and you can back up the entire level (temple) throw it and press A after a certain time and she will re-grab it.
Glitch/Trick_____56. Blinking Game and Watch -- GW is frozen and blinks
Use Soul Stunner on 2 GW's, and then use Confusion to place them on the exact same spot. They will now blink.

Go to Hyrule in training mode, set Mewtwo as the opponent, in "Stand" mode. Set him to 999%, and then put him right where he spawns (should be a bit left of the pillar). Now hit him with C. Falcon's up tilt. He will bounce on the pillar, fly back and double jump through the stage. Other attacks that work are Knee, Marth's Shield breaker, Roy's flare blade, Falcon's up air, Ganon's up air.

Trick_____60. Negative Gravity -- Have any character attack while stuck to the ceiling
Use Peach and someone else in training on any level with a solid ceiling, most likely Temple or Great Bay. Set the other player(s) to 999 damage and do Peach's down tilt on them repeatedly below the ceiling, without getting up. On the eighth down tilt, the character will seem to stick to the ceiling instead of bouncing back down.

Do the Negative Gravity on Link or Young Link and fire an arrow. The momentum they have is translated to the arrow, and it comes out above their head (most noticeable on Great Bay). Give the character a tiny mushroom before doing Negative Gravity, for even longer duration, and higher arrows.

Smash forward then go back to neutral and smash forward again. This should cause fox to repeat his initial dash animation (which is faster then his normal run) causing him to run faster then normal. Continue across the entire level
Trick_____63. Item Bouncing-- Peach throws a radish (yes, it is a Japanese radish) then it bounces off the ground then goes through the stage.
Choose Peach and stand under the awning near the center near the stairs and throw a radish towards the left, it should bounce right before the ledge (where you can fall through to the bottom part of the level) and bounce threw the level and appear to the right of the gazebo then disappear.

Glitch/ Trick_____65. Random Faces -- Characters pictures do not match the characters
Go to Tournament mode, select loser out and whatever you want for the other options. Choose Ditto as at least one of your characters (when you are selecting the character hold L and R) and choose any other people to fill in the brackets. Play a few matches, and the faces don't match the pictures. (I found this works once or twice per tournament and it mostly happened with Pichus character and yellow Roy’s picture above the percent.) Not easily reproducible but can be done. (The picture shows Pichu winning, first player is a Roy picture, and Second Player is a Fox... that is the best picture I could take.)

Go to either Infinite Glacier or Rainbow Cruise and perform an up throw Kirby should bounce off one of the above platforms and commit a suicide throw.
Glitch/ Trick_____67. No Hit Percent -- Your character does not have a percent when you are fighting.
Go to training mode and select any character on any stage then pause and put the cursor over reset. Have your character jump off the edge and when the damage bounces away and you see the fall explosion press start A and when you land on the stage again you will not have a percent. NOTE: you still take damage and it resets when you die.

For Dr. Mario, run the edge of a stage and taunt the slide and the balance on the edge animation should cancel the taunt
Young link- throws the boomerang down at an angle
Link-same thing or throw the boomerang out or hold on to a bomb
Samus-Down B then taunt
Pikas and Yoshi hold Block and you should stop your taunt before it is through
Trick_____69. Infinite Reflector -- cause a green bar of Infinite energy to trap Fox or Falcos shine or have fox hold someone in a shine.
Use the Infinite super scope to trap energy between two reflector and set up the Black hole glitch to achieve the infinite green bar.
On the other hand, just have fox shoot his blaster at anyone holding their reflector. If you shoot fast enough the other player cannot escape. (If playing on a team with Mario or Doc. They can cape the trapped reflector and rack up on the damage as long as Fox continues to shoot the blaster.

Trick/ Easter Egg_____70. Dumb characters. -- Computer AI leads certain characters into acquired situations.
Fox glitch - go to temple and lead an AI fox to the lowest point then leave him there and he will be stuck in an endless jump cycle
Peach glitch - select fox against a level 9 peach go to venom, lure peach to the lower left wing then quickly go to the other low wing, and peach should stand facing the center.
Against most AI - 1. Go to Yoshi 64 and jump from the far right cloud to the other right cloud (most AI can't follow) two. also go to Fourside and walk from the left edge of the center building (little edge about the size of one character) and wait for the AI to go above you then walk left and grab the edge of the left building (most AI will try to D-air you and fall to their doom) 3. Also works on the two new DK levels (far left to center) or (main stage to rock) four. Poke Floats lure the AI to Squirtels left hand (left part of the stage) and jump to his head the AI will stand there until he disappears. 5. (More as I think of them)

Go to the Daisy trophy and rotate under her (as if you are trying to look up her dress) then use the D-pad to zoom in and rotate so you can get under her hair. It takes a little time but once you can "see" through her hair a blue eyeball is placed on the back of her head.

While traveling on the Great Fox (shortly after the cave) look for blobs of red glowing lava on the ground if you are ever spiked into one of them you will fly back up and off the top of the level (just like you can be reflected while you are inside the cave)

As the Ice Climbers on Big Blue, use the freeze glitch on one of the other characters while on a racecar. When the machine leaves the screen and opponent gets KO'ed they never re-spawn no matter what! Even works in training mode! Also works on rainbow cruise and infinite glacier.
Note: if you freeze the opponents on infinite glacier while it is moving upward and it kills them when the stage moves the other way you will see them but not be able to make any contact with them.

On training mode, pick Pichu and anyone for dummy on any level. Now make a Bob-omb and use Pichu's down smash. The Bomb explodes but Pichu takes no damage. Works with 4-5 bombs

Glitch_____78. Freeze Charizard -- Charizard Freezes
On training mode, pick Mewtwo and Bowser as the dummy. Do the Soul Breaker Glitch. Now set CPU to two and grab the unstuck Bowser. Zap the grabbed one once and up throw to freeze him (like the Soul Stunner #57), then do it again (on a third Bowser) NOTE: keep the Bowser's placed very close to each other!
Now throw Pokeballs up at the Bowser's until Charizard appears. When he appears quickly use Mewtwo's up tilt as fast as possible. If done right Charizard should freeze in place

Trick_____82. Infinite Holds -- Hold someone and bring their damage up very high.
Have one person Hold an opponent and have someone else begin hitting them with a rapid fire A move (Fox/Falco kick, Kirby punch, Link/ Y. Links Sword or Foxes blaster, or infinite Superscope) this should keep the held person inside the grab until their damage reaches about 300% this can be held longer to annoy your opponent. Also works well with team attack off.
Trick/ BANNED_____83. Jiggs rising and falling pound -- Jiggs can travel any amount of horizontal distance without losing altitude.
To have Jiggs perform a rising pound press forward B to do a pound then immediately tap up (or down to fall). This will cause her to float and hover upwards (or downwards) slightly, then press Forward B again and you should rise again. This technique is banned in official tournament play because it is considered a stall tactic (much like Peaches Wallbomber.) you can use it to recover but you cannot use it to hover at the top of the stage until time runs out.
Trick_____84. Bob-omb Rain -- You will play a sudden death match with any number of stock, have Bob-ombs rain down on you, and not register any of the kills.
All you have to do is stand there after about 30 seconds. Bombs will fall from the sky automatically. (If you play a timed match (one minute) and 99, stock and do not attack anyone, when the one minute is up you will play a 99 stock sudden death match with raining bombs. If you do the IC freeze Glitch then you can make a target above you that protects you from any of the falling bombs (if you are FD). In addition, if you are fast enough you can jump up and grab one of the exploding bombs (and throw it) before they blow up. In addition, after 99 stocks are up no one will be registered for any of the kills.
Glitch/ Trick_____85. Star Characters -- Turn any character into a star
Do number 33. Kirby Super Suck and DI the opposite character low enough for Kirby to swallow them then spit them out anywhere. (Can also be done with Nana Fireflower)
Glitch_____86. Ness teleport -- Ness flies under the level and grabs onto the opposite ledge
Go to Final Destination and select Ness and Mario. Have Ness stand on the ground and use PK thunder directly into himself so that he travels straight ahead towards Mario. Have Mario stand just at the end of Nesses range and cape him as he is traveling. He should flip around twice and appear under the level, travel to the farthest ledge, bounce off it and grab the ledge.
Glitch_____87. Permanent Illusion -- A copy of fox or Falco's Illusion is permanently branded into the level.
Perform the fox or Falco illusion directly into the black hole glitch, if you become trapped in it while the illusion copies are behind you they will stay there frozen in the level. It is very hard to determine the spacing and timing for this one.

Go to Venom, or Corneria. With Fox or Falco

Fox or Falco should crouch down and then summon the arwings.
Note: this can only be done once per round. once the animation for the secret taunt has begun it can not be repeated until the end of the round. and it can only be done by the two space animals.

but every character can make the jump with perfect timing and proper use of the third jump and jump tricks.
Glitch_____93. Samus Grounded -- cannot jump (shows the animation but does not leave the ground) you can also run and throw items through the stage.

Samus should grapple to the bottom wing of Venom
Mario should cape her while she is in the fall animation. (Not the hanging animation)
Samus should roll up the wing of the Great Fox, and fall through it
Now you can perform different moves with restricted animations.

I am not sure what I did, my friend who had never played before, began pressing buttons on top of big blue. Then big blue began to tilt up and she fell through on to the cars on the bottom of the level. i am going to continue trying different combinations and if i can not get this glitch to reoccur. I will remove it.
Easter Egg_____95. Smash two sign -- You can see a sign that says SMASH 2
If you look around the Mute City trophy you can see a couple of signs that say smash two (they are along the track shortly after the tunnel) also seen during the stage.

Kirby should slide across the stage and be reletively flat.
Repeat, This should result in a very short, flat Kirby.

you can suck in enemies and spit them out at great distances
you can also grab them from different distances away.
you can also attack them from much farther away.

Glitch_____97. Tornado Teleport -- Mario and Doctor Mario teleport back to the stage.
Select Two Mario's.
Use the Tornado and mash B so you begin to rise in the air, with one Mario
Throw a Fireball with the other Mario, and hit the one in the Tornado
this should teleport the first Mario back to the stage.
Glitch_____98. Pika stage drop -- Pikachu and Pichu fall through the end of Final Destination
Roll to the far left of the stage and face left.
jump and back kick
you should fall through Final Destination

Tricks______99. Adventure mode Fly-by -- You fly through the first half of the first level of Adventure mode.
begin adventure mode on Very Hard
aquire about 300 damage
run right, past the two gombas and the 4 Koopas
stand under the bricks (with the three mushrooms in the background)
crouch cancel and get hit right
the bricks should stop your movement
Jump and you should fly through the level
Trick___100. Sword Play -- Marth and Roy can attack through solid objects in the levels
Select Marth or Roy
Go to Fourside and stand on the left ledge of the tallest building
C-stick right, your swords tip should reach through the building

Also works on, Temple, Big Blue, Venom, and Onett
Trick___101. Pikachu Edge Spark -- Pikachu creates a rapid fire spark that stays on the edge of the level.
Select Pikachu and go to the left or right edge of battle field
Back up about a body legnth and a half.
Face away from the level.
Shoot a spark, (neutral B)
It should bounce repeatly back and forth on the edge of the level.
Trick___102. Divided Grapple -- Character performing grab and grabbed character have grapple animation but are seperated.
Go to any of the following levels that have movable platforms:
____Pokemon Stadium (left and right platforms when the level changes)
____Kirby Fountain of Dreams (Platforms moved by the water spouts)
____Rainbow Cruiser (Magic Carpets and falling doughnuts)
Grab a character at the edge of any one of these platforms
and grab them (works best if other character is at a high percentage)
Once the platforms begin to move apart one character will seperate and the other character will be stuck on the ground.

Glitch___103. Samus Hammer Throw -- Samus can throw a hammer from her morphball form
Pick samus
Stand close to a hammer
Lay a bomb
Before the bomb explodes pick up the hammer
Samus should roll into a ball and grab the hamer
continue to drop bombs to maintain the hammer ball
or press Z to throw the hammer at any direction.

Easter Egg_104. Super Sleeper -- Jigglypuff can make everyone on stage fall asleep at the same time regardless of distance.
Go to event #39
Wait until the big screen in the background focuses on you
Use Sing (up+b)
All Jiggs that are not airborne will fall asleep no matter where they are in the stage
Also they sleep for longer than they normally would w/o the trick

Glitch/Trick_105. Super Power Sheilder -- Power sheild reflects a harmless projectile
Powersheild Samus's missle 4 times in a row using 2 people.
This will make a "gimp" missle that doesn't do any damage.
The gimp missle can kill if you are at massive amounts of damage.
The gimp missle will pass harmlessly through shields.

Glitch______106. Unusual Item Carries -- Game and Watch can carry and throw unusual and large items like normal.
The first glitch basically makes G&W hold onto an item that he wouldn't normally be able to hold onto, like a metal box, or a warp star. It seems to occur when G&W is hit during a certain frame of animation of him picking up the item, where he is holding the item, but has not yet used it. After he's holding the item, you can throw it like you would any other item, although it won't cause any damage. You can also do the glitch with carriers, like barrels and party balls, to make G&W hold the carrier like a small item. He'll be able to jump and run around unhindered, as he would with a small item. You can also throw the carrier like a small item, and it'll do it's normal damage.

Glitch______107. Unusual Item Freezing -- Freeze items in the air.
The second glitch causes an item to float in place without moving after being thrown, but still cause damage if touched. It seems to occur if G&W gets hit in a certain frame of his item throwing animation (I reasoned that, since the glitch occurred mainly when I was attempting to throw an item, but being hit with weak attacks repeatedly). If the glitch works, G&W's throw will be interrupted, and the next time you throw the item, it'll float in place. You can grab the floating item as you would a normal item, although I'm unsure what happens if a player other then the G&W who bugged the item grabs it. Also, grabbing the item after you throw it won't fix it, as it'll still float in place when you throw it again. It seemed to occur with items that can be used multiple times (Like fire flowers, ray guns, and home run bats).

Glitch______108. Bowser inerita cancel -- Bowser returns to his starting postion once hit
1.Go to training mode.
2.Pick Peach as you, and bowser as opponent.
3.Press start and change settings so bowser has %999 and is human.
4. Now make bowser and peach face each other
5.Make Bowser f-smash, and have peach use toad to reflect
Now bowser will fly up, then mysteriously come back down at his NORMAL speed!

Trick_____109. No Register Super Scope
Choose IC for player one and anybody else for the partner in training mode. Spawn 2 super scopes and recreate the Infinite Ammo glitch for both IC. Now proceed to shoot, and look at the "Damage" Box. If done right, it shouldn't register any of the shots as hits.

Glitch___110. Bomb Glitch through Corneria
fall through corneria.
have samus lay a bomb anywhere on corneria (best near the back thruster and near the cockpit) , and have another person to a very weak attack to it, (jab or down tilt) and the person who attacked willl fall through the level. (similar to a spike)

- if you do it over the lower level (laser cannon part of stage), theyll fall onto the lower level.
-not fully sure, but i think you have to hit it when it hits the ground, or after it bounces.
- it involves a gap in the stage design. the fact that the entire stage moves around you and that is where the pixels meet in the level the stage moves up through the character while being smashed down in the animation and the character falls through the level.
Glitch___111. Luigi Grounded
Not to sure how this happened but ice climbers vs luigi on DK Jungle Japes and i tecked up through the stage and was unable to jump and be smashed much like grounded link i was still able to be thrown away

Trick___113. Discontinued animation
stop a character animation or action
do any special arial atttack then L cancel properly before you hit the ground. the arial attack should continue and so will the sound effect but your character will remain motionless. this is standard for most long special attacks that you are trying to L cancel, you will hear the sound effect but not get the attack animation.
