Q&A thread for future questions please... It probably has something to do with command grabs or buffering. I will check it out this afternoon.

Confusion is a superwierd grab, as in that it doesnt deal any damage but acts like both "no hit" but still it does.
since you used ABK right as you could move from the confusion, you got "hit" by it again without you getting out from it and ABK is resettable when you get hit by an attack

so basically, you used your first ABK Twice. if you hit someone/something during the second "first" time, you could do it one more time so basically you could do it thrice

If you slow it down you can see that the damage calculator is showing the percent change from Confusion as the ABK comes out. It probably is registering the first one, inputting you has getting hit by a move then a second one.
