Update

Hello,
well I logged on My Nintendo Wii today and it said that there is an update for SSBB. My dad isn't letting me update unless I know what it does because it said you have to go onto Wi-Fi. I think my dad is worried about mucking up the Internet. So can anyone tell me what this update does. Just incase it's big and helps me enjoy the game more. Much appreciated.

Updating the Wii will have no effect at all on the home internet none whatsoever.

Yes, but try explaining that to my Dad, Does anyone know? Also he thinks that I will have to use our internet usage right up and he thinks I'm just making it up to go online on the wii. Yes I have tried showing him the letter. He never listens LOL.

i dunno what the update does, but your dad should learn a few things about internet usage/wii wi-fi. send him to wii.com or something to research <.<

There is no update.

even if there was, it won't be sent to an aussie Wii, because we don't officially have the game yet. If your dad got the game for you with a freeloader, he would have known enough that the update would be fine.
