I would say he looks about the same as 3rd strike..so Rufus' gameplay is like his. Also...I feel like he hasn't been out long enough to see anyone really use the range of his skills...we'll see how he ranks and plays once he's been out longer.

Also, I was thinking. Could we get rid of this theme stuff in the PR and just have a simple picture of the player's main along with a picture of them? (about an avatar size.)

Next tourney we should get all of us lined up and pose for a shot to post at the very top of our PR, I think that would be a cute idea.

anyone going to be recording at the RIT tourney? I want to be recorded if anyone is. Friendlies or bracket matches, I just want to be able to watch my self and break myself down and get better.

Also looking for a teammate for saturday.?.? No more overexcited suicides when the games in the bag either (: thats for you rob

Me and a friend are making a clan for Pokemon Black and White, since there are going to be official rankings and a ladder, amongst other things such as the fact its now impossible to use hacked pokemon on wifi like in pokemon colleseum which really promotes competitive game play.

Random Matches:

In addition to that, once you have signed up on the Pokemon Global Link, you will have the ability to go in for Random Matches within the Pokemon Centers. Here, you can also get ranked based on your performance and your rankings will appear on the Pokemon Global Link website.

Right now we're just gathering information resources, since there isn't really one place with all the info one would need. Feel free to join even if you wanna just play casually.

We're looking for members who have a flash cart like an R4, but if your playing strictly on an emulator feel free to join. =0 R4s only cost like 20$ and you can transfer your .sav file to your R4 and continue playing on your DS. =P

I just hate how it takes forever to get top-notch competitive pokemon. If it didn't require so much time, I would play competitively.

The metagame is going to have a real upheaval in generation V, its possible to use items online. But you can only use items by gaining points in the coin tosser system so it isn't overpowered. .. .I haven't really looked into it to much yet, I'm waiting for a decent english patch to come out.

This "current" PR needs to be redone.

Snakee isn't coming to events anymore - at least not anytime soon unless he can muster a ride, which is highly unlikely since Alt practically disappeared off the face of the smashworld. Cura shouldn't be 10th on melee because he's beaten beta AND Spamus like twice already in tourney and he goes to game three with steffon every time they play in tourney.

Tomato's PR looked pretty rad. I love poke'mon, so do a lot of people in this region. who gives a f*ck if a lot of other people use it. if we love poke'mon then we love poke'mon.

lmao foy, i guess you havn't talked to dudutsai, but ask him. Honeybadger aint nothing to **** with. His mario can prob beat all your chars, thats like his 7th secondary LOL

This is pretty interesting. It's a bit from an article I found on SRK. He's talking about the skill level of a region.

Areas that succeed have something in common: A core group (usually *very* small- 1-3 players at most) of dynamic, inventive players driven to win. Areas that have solid player bases but still suck have something in common too: bad attitudes.

its fairly true as far as ik for nyc mvc2, they have the top players: wong/yipes/sanford but then a fairly talented community below them that are trying to break thru to the next level

I heard with this new gen, they are changing th mechanics so much that their disbanding the entire uber tier to make them playable with everyone else until they rediscover who is and isnt broken.
